Hi everyone.

When we went to WDW in 2005 with virgin we took the disney children suitcases as our hand luggage and saw many other people doing this.

With the restrictions imposed last year are people still allowed to take this with them?

yes though you can not put in any liquids or cosmetics, and you are only allowed to take on one piece of hand luggage each.

You can take solid cosmetics and liquids, including liquid cosmetics, have to be under 100ml and go in a seperate clear plastic bag that can be taken out at security.

Virgin Atlantic hand luggage allowances -

Passengers departing from UK airports are permitted to carry one item of cabin baggage each. Cabin baggage must not exceed a maximum length of 56 cm, width of 36 cm and depth of 23 cm including wheels, handles, side pockets etc. Other bags, such as handbags, may be carried within the single item of cabin baggage. All items will be x-ray screened and must not exceed 6 kilos in weight in Economy and Premium Economy, and 8 kilos in Upper Class.

Current Virgin Atlantic regulations re liquids, which are in line with the Department For Transport rules
