Hand dryers in the bathrooms?

Are there hand dryers in the restrooms at the WDW parks? If so, does anyone know what kind? I'm mostly trying to figure out if they are the super loud ones (like the Excelerator brand or whatever if it called!) or just "normal" noise level. DS has a huge aversion to the super ones, and I just want to be able to prepare him ahead of time. I will likely bring his noise canceling headphones into the parks with us in case he needs them for any reason anyway, but with the obnoxious dryers, he does best if he puts the headphones on before even approaching the doorway!
Thanks :)

can not say about dryers but the toilets are very loud. I would plan on the headphones for first few times then adjust if needed

I seem to recall a lot of the high velocity dryers. And yes, the toilets are noisy when they flush. Best to plan on needing the headphones.

they have paper towels I had to try 3 of them before I found one that works but yes the toilets are loud

trying to figure out if they are the super loud ones

1) To me, there are three different ones,
. . . "normal", low velocity, THINK: large nozzle circa 1995
. . . "fast dry", medium velocity, THINK: your local Fast Food eatery
. . . "turbo", high velocity, THINK: executive men's rooms and just a tad quieter than a jet engine
2) WDW, in our opinion uses the "fast dry" variety.
3) However, even these are loud.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and there were a wide variety of hand-drying mechanisms depending on the restroom. Some restrooms had only paper towels (but I think all had paper towels as an option.) Some had normal hand dryers where you rub your hands under the nozzle. A few had the high-velocity kind where you stick your hands down into them (I'm pretty sure the one in Africa at AK had this kind, and we saw a few more.) But I'll agree with everyone else. The restrooms are, in general, quite loud.

in every bathroom I have ever been in all they had were paper towels not like I spend a lot of time in them but I would go for the dryers that you put you gads in ( the one that dry your hands in about 30 sec) over paper towels any day ( yes I like to save trees)

Thank you everyone!
I will just warn him that there *may* be different varieties, and some may be the loud ones, and make sure he has his headphones handy :). He actually watches videos of hand dryers and knows many of the models, so it makes him a little less anxious if he knows the exact model.........since they vary, I will just prepare him for that!
