The one hand baggage restriction is lifted from next Monday, but only at certain airports and not Gatwick it appears.
Be aware if you are flying through Gatwick from a regional airport.
Also certain carriers will still only permit one piece of hand baggage.
Best check if you plan to take more than one piece.
