Hamster Killer Thread?

:confused3

Physical hurts often heal faster & much easier than physcological and emotional damage does... :sad2:

I am in hopes that the boy can recover and heal from the emotional hurt that she bestowed on her son. I am thankful that she did NOT take the hammer to her son and likely that could have been the next event. This episode was caught before a worse one could play out.

I have to believe the same.:sad1: Sometimes things happen for a reason. I'm thankful she didnt hurt her son.
I didn't hear about this but please tell me her son is no longer in her care.

The article that I read didn't say anything about that. However, I'm hoping that's the case. Maybe he is under another relative's care. :confused3

I was thinking this topic was about how to keep a hamster alive... I've had my share of bad luck with small pets.

This is just disturbing. What does grades have anything to do with killing a hamster?? If it was a reward for good grades i could picture giving it away for the bad grade... but geez, killing it?

I hate sick SICK people like this. That poor little boy and that poor hamster. There is NO excuse whatsoever for cruelty to animals. That boy is going to be scarred from this. So so sad.

I was at work (work outdoors at an amusment park in the summer) and there were a couple little mice running around. This guy came up and stepped on one. God it made me feel ill. I started to cry and just asked him why he would do something like that. He had no answer. If I wouldn't have been on duty he would have gotten it from me. I'd say more but don't want points.

Isn't harming animals like step 1 in the serial killer handbook? I believe that is one of the first signs/indicators that someone is psycho....

What is even more frightening is that this is what we know about, imagine the torture this poor kid has gone through his whole life living with someone so evil. I am certain there are a lot more scary stories in this home that he hasnt told. This kid needs some psychological help/intervention to try to keep him from being "off" I mean living with a mom like that means some damage has probably already been done, and genetically he could be predisposed to mental illness. Let's hope he is young enough to have some normal in his life.

I agree 100% with the previous poster who said mom needs to be hit with a hammer.

It's just really sad that we're hearing so many more stories of bizarre animal abuses parents have children witness.

I think the hamster is one of the worse b/c she made the child do it himself, but the case last week of the NY mom who killed hundreds of animals for kicks and duct taped the family cat's nose and mouth then hung it to die from her child's bunk bed just left me speechless.

WTH is wrong with people these days? I know cruelty has always existed but it sure seems like there's a lot more of these bizarre and heartbreaking stories recently...:sad1:
