Hamilton on Disney Plus this Friday....who's excited!!??

I wouldn't be surprised if it drops early on July 2, the way that Frozen 2 did. Frozen 2 ended up dropping the night before it was supposed to debut.

I'll be checking on July 2, just in case.

i want to see the original stage version. not the kid friendly version. one day....

I thought I had read that they reduced the # of 'F' words from 3 to 1 to keep the PG-13 rating, and that was the only change made.

Kid friendly? This is the original stage version. My understanding is that they’re bleeping two F words and that’s it.

I mean I want to see it in person. So, this version is an actual live performance and they are not removing any of the scenes or dialog.. AWESOME ! I am glad you know it is the original stage version and have seen it to keep those of us who have not seen it and heard they were watering it down for Dinsey+ straight. I appreciate your knowledge.

I have not seen it yet, but all reports are (including from Lin Manuel Miranda himself) is that this is not watered down at all (again, except for a couple bleeped 'F' words).

I completely understand wanting to see it live on stage, however. Definitely a performance worth seeing in person!

Loved this:
"He goes on to explain that “Hamilton” has three {expletive} bombs, so “I literally gave two {expletive} bombs so the kids could see it.”

Miranda said “On July 3, you’re getting the whole show, every note and scene, and a 1-minute countdown clock during intermission (bathroom!)”"

I listened to the soundtrack yesterday during my drive from Western MD to home near DC. The soundtrack almost got me all the way home! Not knowing Hamilton's story it was interesting to try to follow along based on the songs alone.

I have decided that we will watch it. But not until August on the night we were supposed to go see it. We will go out to a nice dinner (outdoor dining) then come home and watch it.

68 Cumberland?

I subscribed to Disney+ JUST for this. I'll watch it a few times in July and then goodbye Disney+ LOL. Worth it. I've seen Hamilton on stage (in Minneapolis) and it didn't live up to the hype. IT BLEW IT AWAY. (Just in case you were worried). Can't wait to see the original cast. I've seen bootleg portions, but not the same as seeing it start to finish.
