Alexander Hamilton . . .
Anyone else get choked up during One More Time? It's the one part that made me full on cry when I saw the show.
We are doing a "Rocky Horror" style viewing party (not really a party, just a few neighbors) outside. I have prop bags for everyone (water guns, little American flags, crowns to wear when the king is on, croissants to eat when Jefferson returns from France and a few other things). We have a big outdoor screen and will show it with subtitles so everyone knows what they are saying. My family has seen it several times (with the original cast), but I think it's challenging if you don't know what they are saying. Can't wait (for it)!

If you watch it and have never seen it before, turn the Closed Captioning on if you can. Some of the lyrics go by VERY fast!
Do that the second time you watch it. The first time just let it flow...If you watch it and have never seen it before, turn the Closed Captioning on if you can. Some of the lyrics go by VERY fast!
I think @WorldOfPooh is the most excited!
If you don't mind - why?
I've never seen it. I've only seen advertisements for it. I'm not impressed with the "music" in the show, but that's most likely because I don't think rap, or hip-hop, or whatever that style is ranks as music.
Well, there's me, tooTo those planning to watch, enjoy, but I feel like the only person in the world who couldn’t care less.![]()

I don't like rap/hip hop either. And not from lack of exposure, since my teens play it all the time. But I love the show. I saw it for the first time in Boston and liked it, but had a hard time following because it's fast paced and I never heard the soundtrack. After seeing it, I started listening to (and loving) the soundtrack. So I saw it again in Chicago. Really loved it the 2nd time. I'll be watching July 3rd.
