On our return trip from Orlando home on April 2nd, our Westjet flight has a layover in Hamilton (5 hours) before our return flight to Edmonton. Is there enough time to leave the airport and do or see something. And, if there is enough time, is there anything to see or do in Hamilton?:confused3

The warplane heritage museum is right beside the airport, if that is something you would be interested in. Otherwise, there is nothing much around there if you don't have a car. The airport is sort of on the outskirts and is pretty isolated.

We just dropped our son at the Hamilton Airport for his flight to Calgary--there really isn't much to do there--a Tim Horton's, a newstand type store, small duty free and a restaurant(serves alcohol and has TV screens playing). Five hours is a long time to pass time there. As mentioned earlier, there is the Warplane Heritage Museum but anything else you wanted to do would require a taxi ride--there are a lot of restaurants on Upper James Street which is near the airport. If all else fails, maybe we could plan a DisMeet--we discovered today that parking is quite expensive there but who knows, it might work. Good luck and keep us posted
