I know these questions are mundane so feel free to chuckle if you must. I won't mind.
1. My husband loves burgers but has always complained about the quality of the burgers in DL. I hear they have improved their burgers. Any truth to this?
2. Are the corn dogs that are sold from the cart at the end of Main Street the same as the ones sold in other places in DL?
Thanks!

For a "better burger", try Hungry Bear in DL or Taste Pilot's in DCA.

And yes, the corndogs are the same no matter where you get them. That doesn't mean I'm not partial to the original spot though ;)

I'm a huge burger fan but I've never been satisfied with DLR's burgers. I really like the bacon cheeseburger at ESPN zone in DTD. Expensive but yummy.

In addition to the regular corn dog, you can get a hot link corn dog at DCA's Corn Dog Castle. :thumbsup2

I think I remember reading before that, while the corn dogs at the cart come with chips or apples, you can buy one at the Stage Door Cafe and get it with french fries instead. Is this true? Also, does anyone know if the price is the same? I see what it says on allears but figured I'd ask to see if anyone knew differently. Thanks!

Yes, this is true

I agree that the burgers are "better" (they used to be horrendous) but still not what I would call a "good" burger. The corndogs are the best though!:goodvibes

I don't see fries as an option on the Stage Door Cafe menu that is shown here on Dis or on Allears.....not for the corndog or any other main item either?

Ive never had a burger from DL that I would call good. Edible is a better word IMO. Never been impressed with the burgers there but they are fine for a quick eat and go meal.

I will have to try the corn dogs next time. I like corn dogs but dont eat them often (usually get one a year at the state fair) so next trip i will try so I can compare it to the state fair ones.

I may have been in corn dog induced haze but if I recall correctly the Stage Door Cafe was a dollar more. Anyone able to confirm this?

I've never cared for the burgers in either park. Always over cooked and dried out. I assume to feed the masses they keep tons of burgers cooked in warming ovens. Tastes like it anyways!!

Many seem to love Taste Pilots. Set up kinda like Fuddruckers with a fixing station with tomatoes, onions etc. Tried the blue cheese burger but like everywhere else in the parks I've tried, the burger was tasteless and dry.

Not all is lost though! Lately we've been heading to Jazz Kitchen Express in DTD. Their burgers are meaty and juicy every time. Single cheeseburgers are $5.99, double is $6.99 and includes fries. Very good deal to me. They also have free refills on drinks.

I second Taste Pilots in DCA. They are decent, and you can put the toppings on yourself.

I didn't like the burgers I had in DL. I think I had them at Hungry Bear, and a place in tomorrow land. Sorry don't remember the name.

For the corn dogs, I did notice that the ones we got in DCA seemed over done compared to the ones at the Wagon. They were still delish though. :thumbsup2

We are not DL burger fans either. We do like Taste Pilots, but it's because of the fixins bar. My kids just love to have options. :thumbsup2

The place in TL is Tomorrowland Terrace. :)

We like the burgers at TPG, we eat them every trip. They aren't amazing or wonderful, but they are good. And the fixing bar really helps, I get the Wild Bleu Yonder burger (with onion rings) and ask for it without steak sauce, because I can then add all the BBQ I want. :) I add red onion and loads of pickles, sometimes jalapenos if I'm in the mood. :)

I have to chime in here. DH and I did this on our last trip, we took our food to White Water to eat. The burger and fries were REALLY REALLY good. I wish we hadn't done this on our last day because we would have done it again for sure. It will be on our meal schedule at least twice next time!
