Hamburger Helper!

So I am making Hamburger Helper today. I like the Macaroni Cheeseburger one the best, what is your favorite?

However my DH hates HH so we never have it(he's the cook)
My neighbor use give me some when she made it for dinner.

I'm another one with a DH that hates it, so I haven't made it in years. I used to love Cheeseburger Macaroni.

We tried the Chicken Helper Fettucini Alfredo, but he likes my homemade recipe better. Oh well.

We don't care for the hamburger type. But my kids and me love the Chicken Alfredo and Tuna Helper Fettucine type and the Original Tuna Helper is okay. My kroger has it on sale for a $1 a box, gotta stop in there today because it's the last day!

Not a fan--ate it too much as a kid and I don't think they have much flavor (i.e. under seasoned).

However when i was a kid--my favorite was lasagna.

we have either hh or tuna h every couple of weeks, it is perfect for those busy nights.
we like all the tuna ones, and for hamb the cheeseburger mac and lasagna are our favs.

3 Cheese Macaroni. My DH won't touch it either, so HH is a "treat" for when dad travels.

I grew up with Beef Noodle and always loved it, but they have changed it and I don't care for it anymore. I think that I would like one of the Mexican ones, but I have not ventured away from my 3 Cheese Macaroni.

We always use 1/2 the amount of hamburger. The we don't care for that much meat in our HH.

My favorite use to be Stroganoff, but I found a homemade recipe that's just as easy and tastes as good, so I make that now. Plus, they changed the noodles in it and I put in noodles more like the old ones, I don't like change! I do buy the cheeseburger one, even dh can make that on nights I'm not feeling so good.

I love all the hamburger helpers. I use ground turkey or ground chicken. It is so so good.

My DH told me when we got married (23 years ago) that if I ever made HH he would divorce me. That was all his mom new how to cook and he got sick of it. So I never made it, even though I like it. Well, about 10 years ago he was between jobs and took over all the housework while I was working. I came home 1 day to a meal of HH. I have not stopped teasing him about that. He decided they changed it so much that it is good now. LOL
