Nice pictures!! I didn't realize they had games too. They look like fun! What other kind of games and things were there to do?

Where was your favorite place to be?

We didn't know they had games either! They were toss-the-ball-in-the-pirate's mouth kind of games. The kids won pencils and stencils, bookmarks, etc. There were also crafts of some sort to do as well, all over in the Pirates Wharf area. For me, my favorite place was the dancing in Sunshine Plaza. I LOVE Donald Duck, so it was very cool for me to be dancing with him! He's not so commonly out and about anymore. Of course, I have no pictures of me with him since I don't let my DS (8) handle my camera , and my dad and DD were off in search of a turkey leg.

Nothing says pirate like gnawing on a turkey leg...

I do agree with the PP who said that it was oversold in tickets, and I'd pay more if they sold fewer. The crowds made it tough to be out so late after being in school all day. The kids were troopers, though- no meltdowns and we stayed till a little after 11 before heading to wait for a tram with a million other folks. Pretty good considering they were up at 6 to go to school...

i believe the only place you can't were your costume is in disneyland.. so you should be fine in dtd if i'm wrong someone will respond

I think she would have to have a ticket to get the free parking, because you pay before you even enter the parking lot (not at the end when you leave like some places). Maybe you could meet her somewhere before? Even at the front in the 15 min parking where you could just give her the ticket.

I believe it will probably be Mickey and Friends, the large multi-level parking structure.

I am so lovin' all the photos and what people have to say about the party thus far. I so can't wait for next week!!!

And I got a new DSLR for my anniversary in August and can't wait to use it for awesome night shots!!! My other digital is nice but just doesn't do night shots for anything!!!

Great pictures everyone!!! I was there that night too and I didn't see either of you 2!

It was kinda crowded. We got on TSMM with a 35 minute wait, the board said 30 minutes. We got on Mullholland Madness twice in a row and both times were walk on, TOT was walk on, Screamin' was about 5 minute wait and we waited for Soarin' about 10 minutes.

The candy lines looked very long but they went by fast. We were in the GRR area by ourselves for a long time. I didn't think it was so crowded, we got there late too. There was issues with the stop lights all along Ball so it took awhile to get into the parking structure.

We had a blast dancing and checking out all the characters. We even had time to eat at Taste Pilots!

DBF has the camera, so as soon as he shares I'll post pictures!!

It was a Friday night. I'm sure you'll have better luck on a Thursday! My kids have soccer practice M-Th so Fridays were the only night we could go.

I'll be there on Friday the 17th. I can't remember...do you need your park ticket AND your party ticket to get in to the party or just the party ticket. I don't want to carry anything extra if I don't have to.

You just need your event ticket, not the reg. admission ticket. Have a great time!!!

ah! i cant wait! we did not get my dad one when they still had them on sale for tomorrow, and then the other day he was like i wanna go! (typical dad XD) so i checked back on the site and it was sold out! i told my dad and he was like thats to bad....then the next day we have a neighbor that works at DLR (DLR hotel) and some how he got us the ticket for an AP rate! it was awesome! so now my whole family is going! i cant wait ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing pictures of the party. We are going on the 22nd. I'm so glad I bought tickets. It looks like a lot of fun. I wasn't going to at first because we are with teenagers and I thought it would be geared toward little ones. But I can see it is fun for everyone.
