Hello,

This will be my first stay during the Halloween time-frame. I was wondering, do the resorts and/or the parks decorate for the halloween theme like they do at christmas time?

Thanks for the replies.

;)

The only Halloween decorations you will see is if you go to Mickey's No So Scarey Halloween party or a resort (Boardwalk has in the past) that does a celebration for Halloween on Oct 31.
Other then that there aren't any decorations for Halloween...

Not much decorating if any for the halloween season, but if you are there on a day that they have the Mickey's not so scary Halloween party I would go, it is worth EVERY PENNY!

I would also suggest a dinner reservation with Character Dining we ate at The Tavern Inn and it was awesome, the wait staff were all dressed up in their halloween garb and of course, Goofy, Minnie , Chip and Dale were all in Halloween costumes!

They do a special Halloween parade that is awesome, it is kicked off by the klipty klopp of the headless horseman with a flaming jack-o-lantern and all! The parade was done twice a night, all the rides were open and some of the characters that were in halloween garb from the parade went to the pavillion ( i don't remeber what it is called now, it is just for character meetings, it is accross from the Pooh ride and it used to be the 20,000 leagues ride). There were 4 characters there and then at mickeys house and minnies house in the toontown area they were dressed up as well.

Back to the Tavern Inn, the staff were all taking pictures of the little trick or treaters and the big ones too.

It was an awesome experience that SHOULD not be missed, it is a little expensive, but I would try to budget it in for sure.

Thank you for the replies.

Mom & I will be attending our first MNSSHP this year. Actually, we will be going to two. I have made reservations for the Liberty Tree Tavern for the first party. After reading these replies I am very excited about going to both. :D
