Being the changeable people we are we are now NOT going at Christmas but ARE going at Halloween (whoooooo).

I'm assuming that Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party is on more than once: am I right in this assumption?

Also, do people really dress up? I ask as I once went to a fancy dress party with freinds - we were the only people who bothered. I can't tell you the joy of being dressed as a plucked chicken for an evening. I wore yellow tights, a brown leotard, and made a huge red cocks-comb (insert your own comment here). I fashioned feet from bubble wrap painted red. I was very, very creative. I was very, very avoided on the tube.

I'd rather this didn't happen in the USA.

What should I dress as? Answers on a postcard.

That's OK - we'll just call you 'Anna'. ;)

The dates for MNSSHP this year were September 15, 22 and 29; October 2, 5, 6, 10, 12, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30 and 31.

Yes, people really do dress up - probably about 50/50. At least they do for MNSSHP. We dressed up for Epcot on Halloween itself this year and we were about the only people there who had. It was fun though - we got loads of attention.

I think Mr Chicken definitely needs to make a come-back!

see this thread, I posted in. If you search there are lots more.

Yes there are lots of evenings for MNSSHP's
Great value event, I would say roughly half the guests dress up,, they are not allowed and nothing risque although I did see a couple of nurses at DLR this year:confused3
Prefer WDW to DLR but they have a had a few years more at it, I think its only been going 2 years at DLR (not sure)
We have done it is costume and without, better experience dressed up.

As Deb points out it is on more than one night. If you are intending to go on the 31st I would get your tickets quite quickly, as Halloween night tends to sell out.

Last time we did MNSSHP there were lots of people dressed up. One costume in particular sticks in my memory and that was Donald Duck. Excellent costume although the 14 year old wearing it looked less than impressed. We were the only ones on the Monorail not wearing fancy dress and I felt more out of place than the ones wearing fancy dress.

You will not regret your decision to go at Halloween - I think MNSSHP is the best Disney thing ever! We will be going again for the third time this year, and I think I might even get dressed up this time! You would definitely not be out of place in a costume, as Florence says, you are more likely to feel left out if you are not dressed up.
