what is this like for an 8 year old
will it be to scarely
don't take an 8 year old to
hhn.
it is advertised this is not a children's event.
i completely and totally love and addicted to HHN. i can tell you this is not the place to bring young children. the scareactors do not have to dummy down their role just because a youngster is there.
the park is very dark in places, scareactors in doing their role will jump out and scare you, chainsaws are loud, beer is flowing all over, you will encounter drinking adults, lines are tremendous for the houses and top rides.....................just not the place for kiddos.
if you plan to go to universal during the hard ticket event, go in the daytime with the child. use a babysitting in room service for the evening and return to the park for hhn.
the last few years, i have seen some families bringing children to hhn.
during bill and teds last year, 4 families with kids 10 and under got up and left. they didn't like the language and attire of the actors. 2 dads complained to the employee (in front of where i was sitting) of the crassness of this show. hello......weren't you listening to the annoucements and posted signs before entering......"rare language, scanty attire will be seen, for mature audience only, do not enter if this offends you " notices.
and the men insisted on getting a refund as they were leaving the park.
i would think a youngster would have nightmares if a parent took them to hhn.
stick with taking the kids to the parks in the daytime if you go in october during hhn times.
