Halloween weekend busy?

Is the last weekend of October packed normally? I know that Epcot has its food festival and the MNSSHP's, but I'm a little suprised that theres hardly a room to be found on site next weekend.

We were thinking of taking a quick trip for a long weekend next week, one of those last minute ideas, but I hate the thought of staying offsite.

Just curious, we've done these last minute trips before and normally we have a pretty good choice of hotels to stay at in October, was hard to believe that everything is full next week.

We have gone a few times during Halloween. Usually the weekend before, all of the resorts are filled due to the golf tournament. The parks have always been manageable. Get there early and use your fast passes. The first weekend of Nov. is crowded because of Veteran's day and Jersey week. I don't think it's nearly as crowded as the summer months or spring break time. It's our favorite time to go. Epcot gets crowded anyway for thr F&W festival.

I hope that you meant the second weekend in November BEcasue we are going the first weekend. Vetrans Day falls on the 2nd weekend in November. I am not 100% sure which week Jersery week is.

Jersey week starts 11/5/07. I know a lot of people go down starting on 11/3/07. Some schools up here only get the last few days that week off. I just realized Veteran's day is the 12th, but the times we've gone the weekend after Halloween starting getting busier than the weekend before in the parks. It seems like you just never know until you get there.
