We are headed to the GCH Oct 30-Nov. 1. I have been to DL many times, we have APs and actually live only 15 min. away. But we are getting ready to have our 2nd child in Dec and I really want to stay somewhere nice and have some fun. I am actually splurging for concierge (AP7 rate).
The first night, my DH and I are on our own and our DD will join us the next day. Mickey's Trick or Treat party starts later on Halloween. My DD is usually in bed by 8 and it starts at 7:30. Is it worth it to take her for just an hour or so. It is hard to justify the ticket price for so little time? Do they have activities and crafts for that age or would we be doing it just for the candy?

I think I would do it... my dd was 3 when we went, and yeah it started late, but I think she managed to stay up until 9:30 that night... she loved the atmosphere... and we didn't get candy... just the carrot sticks and dried fruit snacks at the stations... we mostly rode her favorite rides (over and over)... and dh and I had a chance to do the big rides with no waits... that to me was worth only the 2 hours we were there!

We will be there the same day as you!!!
We went last year, and my younger two boys had just turned 2 and 4(in August), they had a blast, and they stayed up the whole time!! Needless to say, the 2yo was asleep before we got back to the hotel, but they had loads of fun!! I would do it. She is free anyways!!
