Halloween TOT-ing

We are staying w/ the DIS GG for Halloween, so we will be there. Does the new security on Halloween night mean we cannot have guests come? Since we are locals, my friend and her family planned to spend the day at a park and then come visit us for dinner and TorT-ing...should I tell her it isn't going to work???

I would totally understand if that is the case, I just want to find out now and let her know because I would hate for them to be turned away and miss T or T-ing altogether. Or I could tell her to go to Downtown Disney?

I want the kids safe so if that is how it is, it makes perfect sense!

Just tell them when you check in that you have friends coming for the day and get them key cards. If they want to charge you, do like I did I told them everyone was kids they asked if they were under 18 and I told them all 3 of the people staying with me were 17 1/2!!!

i was gonna say teh same thing. register them as campers.
does anyone know officially what the new rules are going to be. I find it funny we have to register in advance for the trick or treating I do not remember ever doing that before. also i think i read they are going to have sherriffs on scene to enforce the rules. I do not plan on breaking any but was just wondering if anyone had the official plans for the park security. I do not have anyone coming to visit or anything else WE have about 5 campers in are group going that I know of and was just trying to get planning. It is hard enough to plan dinners with all of us much less get all this stuff organized. really looking forward to it though. hope to meet some disers. just had the wife go get some laminate to laminate our name. so we can hang it.
