Halloween Time

For anyone who can answer: approximately when do the Halloween decorations start to appear in the parks? We are planning a trip on 9/9/18-9/16/18. We added an extra day so we could be in the parks on Saturday 9/15 thinking the official start day will be 9/14?? It looked like haunted mansion didn't open back up this year until 9/15 when Haloweentime officially started. Hoping to experience everything during our trip. We will be celebrating our daughter's 18th birthday! That and because our daughter in love is in nursing school is the reason we had to choose those dates. We went around Columbus Day in 2012. Wow was it busy! Hoping for not too busy, and hoping to see all of the great Halloween time magic. I am assuming they will continue with the expanded decorations in CA! Thanks for any input!

It's very likely the decorations will come up that Friday (14th), so you should be ok. But I also wouldn't be surprised if they move up the Halloween season by a week considering how busy it has been this year! Unfortunately we won't know until very close to your trip!

We were in the parks on Sept 11-14th. Decorations started going up just before we arrived. More and more decorations appeared each day in DL, DCA and DTD. The rest of the decorations were up on the 15th.
