Halloween Time at Disneyland, Oct 16-19. Lots Of Pictures! Trip Report Completed

I'm sloooow reader. It literally takes me at least a month (usually more) just to read a book. Even "easy" books take me forever. I started a James Patterson yesterday and I probably won't finish until December some time. My sister is one of those people that can read a whole book in a night. I just can't do it.

He'd make a better Jacob than Edward. I still haven't found an actor that looks more like Edward to me than Rob (the guy they cast). I did picture his hair darker, but he's got the right eyes.

They should have had us at the casting call.

Wendy, I think guys with long hair can be really HOT! It takes the right guy to pull it off, but when it works, oh man, it works!!!

I'm sorry, but you'd be wrong about that.

:rotfl:

Nice pics Wendy! I took a pic of that Knight too. He creeped me out as well!! I felt like there was something or someone in there watching me. :scared:

Where is that store?? I don't think I've been in there. what do they sell?

Love the pictures from the bridge!

I know!! I finally had to walk away after staring at him for awhile, I didn't like having my back to him! :rotfl:

I thought about you and your husband when I was on the bridge. :goodvibes

Aww. thanks. That bridge is pretty awesome :)

I really love that waterfall photo! a lot of your photos are things I would never think to snap pictures of so it's cool to see them.

Howdy!

All caught up!

I sure read alot about Twilight, Edward and City stuff!! :rolleyes1

Ok I'm all caught up again.
Loving that on your solo trip you were able to take so many cool pictures of the details!!!!
I have Twilight--got it the other day at Wally World after seeing you guys all talk about it so much. I'm in the middle of another book but it's next on my list.
I also give Netflix a big :thumbsup2 They have stuff you can never get at the video store. Obscure & old movies that I have always wanted to see.

I'm amazed at how much I've missed with always being with a group of people going one place from the next, it was nice to finally stop and look around.

Another Twilight victim! I finally broke down and bought it because of all the ladies around here talking about it too!

The monkey vampire has my vote! :cutie:

It took until 2 AM, but all is right with the world again, my Edward has returned to me. :rotfl:

OK, don't get too excited, but we're about to hop onto the Mark Twain.

The Sailing Ship Columbia was not running this trip, so I settled for the Mark Twain. OK, usually I don't go on either of these ships, but I've been on the Mark Twain more times then the Sailing Ship Columbia and I was hoping I'd get a chance to explore the pirate ship. Guess I'll just have to save that for another trip.

Walking up to the loading area, I noticed I was a little early for the next boarding:

So I took some pictures of the area:

Finally the Mark Twain was ready for boarding! There weren't many people waiting at the time, but I think it eventually filled up pretty well. Being one of the first people to board, I made my way to the top. This is one memory that isn't so much a memory, because I can't remember the last time I was on the top level of the Mark Twain. My first picture was of the wheel:

Then I grabbed a seat before they were all taken and took some more pictures.

How convenient, you can use the axe to threaten someone if they try to take the last life jacket from you:

Of course I had to take this opportunity to take a picture of the Maliboomer:

At this point I got a little, hmmm how should I say this...irritated, yes that's a good word. I got a little irritated, because as I was clearly and oh so obviously taken pictures from my seat, which was approximately three feet from the rail, a couple walked right in front of me and stood there lat the edge, blocking my view from anything, but their behinds. Finally they left, but the couple that was next to me, that were a little more then "pooh sized" did the same exact thing, even though the lady could tell I was clearly irritated at the first couple! Oh well. I just tried to relax and enjoy a moment of not doing anything. Eventually those two left and I continued taking my pictures.

Sorry for all the blurry pictures. My flash wasn't being nice and I didn't have a tripod on me (not that I own one :rotfl:).

OK, I've reached my picture limit, but don't worry, we're only half way done with our Mark Twain trip!

Up Next: Mark Twain, Part ll!!!!!

You know I have been so many times and I have only ridden the Columbia once. I always plan too but it never seems to be running when I am there. Maybe next time.

I'm always too in a rush to ride the Mark Twain. Care to take a spin with me in March?

Yeah, maybe I'll get my chance on the Columbia in February or March.

Of course I will! :goodvibes

She'd love to! Right Wendy? She could go on that ride over and over. :rotfl2:

Yep, I'll ride it morning, noon and night. I wont even get off of it, I'll just keep going round and round all day long. So if anyone is looking for me on the girl's trip, they'll know where to find me. Well, on that or on POTC. :rotfl2:

I love the picture of your Fort Wilderness sign. Are you too young to remember playing there?

Time to continue on our Mark Twain trip! :woohoo: Are you excited as I am?

I think this was the time that I missed the last step, 'cause I was looking at someone...

Don't worry, I'll save you!
IMG_1285.jpg

That's it for my grand Mark Twain Adventure.

Up Next: From one boat ride to the next!

For someone who's scared of water, you sure spend a lot of time on boats. ;)

Lovin all the pics! popcorn::
