hi, Just saw a comment on a Disney FB page about the Halloween-themed High tea @ Disneyland Hotel - has anyone been in previous years and recall the menu? We will be there then and am wondering if it is worth doing. Thanks.

It's actually afternoon tea and not high tea. The menu is basically the same as the normal afternoon tea, but the desserts will be halloween themed.

FWIW, by the time they announce it, it will be sold out. When booking opens for tea in October, book it. When the date gets a lot closer, they will announce that it will be Halloween themed. Even though you booked a regular tea, you will get the Halloween one. At least it was like that the past couple of years.

As cruisehopeful said above. My son and I did this last year. I booked it around the 60day mark - originally listed as the normal tea but changed to the Halloween 'Trick or Tea' closer to the date. If you google that you will see pictures of the tea.
Menu:
Choose from 3 distinct tea parties:

Classic Tea Party

  • Traditional Scones
  • Tea Sandwiches
  • Desserts
  • Teas and Herbal Infusions
Premium Tea Party

  • Sparkling Wine
  • Traditional Scones
  • Salad
  • Tea Sandwiches
  • Desserts
  • Farewell Truffle
  • Teas and Herbal Infusions
Kids Tea Party

  • Traditional Scones
  • Tea Sandwiches
  • Desserts
  • Herbal Infusions, Juices, Milk or Hot Chocolate

It was essentially the above with a Halloween twist that you can see in the pictures if you google.
I thought it was lovely and we really enjoyed it. I had the Premium and it was a basic 'greens' salad to start which was very nice and refreshing.
Various desserts. They also had some 'Halloween' flavoured special teas which we tried which we really liked - I think it was the Apple Pie green tea.
My son had the kids tea with a few different drinks - hot chocolate etc..
We thought it was great and would do it again in a heartbeat. Service was really great and friendly. They also brought my son a 'Farewell Truffle' which the server didn't have to do - he was really chuffed.
Definitely book at the 60day mark - you can always cancel if you decide not to go ahead with it.

Good to know - thanks.

I went last year. ..I was very excited but it was actually quite disappointing. Service for us was extremely slow, we honestly thought they'd forgotten we were even there. The sweets were nice and certainly cute, but the environment was very cold and dark, not really anything special. I wouldn't go again.

Oh, that's a shame. It is so much money for a disappointing experience.
