As usual, LOVING Figment's outfits!!!!!

Thanks everyone. I found my Vampire Mickey on BVS yesterday (Fri), but I also saw it at several of the DL stands (Frontierland, the Hub, and by the Matterhorn) during MHP. I don't know if they still be at all those locations today, but I'll check when I walk by.

In terms of MHP, I had a great time last night! I'll post a full review in my Halloween Trip Report thread when I get home.

Saturday morning update:
  • Poison Apples still available at several locations in DL.
  • Zero Bucket at NOS popcorn cart.
  • Vampire Mickey at the Hub and Frontierland popcorn carts (haven't checked other locations).
Some miscellaneous MHP thoughts:
  • The PtN parade was less crowded than the first showing on Thursday night. We wandered down Main Stret and there were still curb spots available about 30 minutes before the patade started. There were spots (non-curb) still available when the parade reached the middle of MS.
  • Candy lines were really long at first and didn't seem to thin out until after fireworks. The Peeps trail is by the Rivers of America. The Werthers trail is at the monorail. They give out the Dove candy at the exit.
  • Fireworks were busy, but similiar to Thursday and how it's felt in the past.
  • The cross-over period, when both MHP and day guests are in the parks, was pretty busy.
  • No FPs during the party.
  • The Villians Good-Bye Show is pretty cute and starts about 5 minutes before the party ends at the MS Train Station. Ratcliffe was part of the show (don't know if he's one of the M&G villians), Facillier was not.
  • The Villians do not meet during the parade.
  • Jack and Sally were by the HMH FP distribution entrance. Saw Wendy at the Pirates site (Mark Twain dock). Saw Pirate Donald at Rancho del Zocalo. Pooh and friends in Halloween attire were in Critter Country.
  • In park wristband distribution was at the entrance to Frontierland.
  • Pre-Party in Toontown started at 6 and ended at 8. They cut off the line for the characters around 7:15 (I could telll who was there).
  • AP Trail was at the Opera House. Well worth a visit!
  • Cadaver Dans performed on Rivers of America. Very cool show!

Can you tell me a bit about the Toontown party? I never make it over there, as those I'm with aren't interested. What goes on?

I have to give a shout-out to some sweet CMs in the AP lounge. I went in alone, as I was the only one in my party who has an AP. The gift was a sling bag with the 60th logo on it (nice). The CM asked if there was anyone else with me and I told her yes, but they aren't APs. She said "oh, well we can make an exception" and gave me bags for everyone in my party. That was really sweet. The goodie was a yummy rice crispy pop.

We got quite the haul of candy. IMHO the lines look daunting but move fast and the ride lines were short enough (HM aside) that there was more than enough time to hit all candy stations, ride some rides, see the parade/fireworks and even do a little shopping. Really nice time, tho' I could've done without the insane heat all day. Wish Disney could control the weather. It'd be perfect all the time :)

We went on Saturday and couldn't find them. When I asked the popcorn CM next to Haunted Mansion, she said they're at the one in Main Street. I asked her if she meant the one by the main entrance & she said yes. However, it was closed upon entering and exiting the park. If someone finds him, please post where you found him!

Late morning today we saw them at the popcorn stand at the hub. That was around 10:30. When we hopped to DCA we didn't pass by there so I don't know if there were any this afternoon. That was the only stand we noticed them at.

Update: they were at DCA today as well.

I found Vampire Mickey last night at the Frontierland popcorn stand. I saw him today at the Grizzly Peak stand next to the airplane.

The Toontown pre-party is essentially an early start to MHP. There are a few treat trails (3 this year), a photo op with the party logo, and a chance to meet some characters in Halloween costumes. It's busy, but still quite fun and you can get a lot of candy before the party officially starts.

The Cinderella Carriage bucket was still available at the Town Square popcorn stand.

I didn't check most of the popcorn stands in DCA, but I didn't see the blue, red, or purple Mickey balloons, Mine Train, or Han Solo in Carbonite popcorn buckets this weekend at any of the stands in DCA.

One last update before heading home (Sunday morning):
  • Town Square popcorn stand had the Cinderella Carriages. The Hub stand had Zeros. The Matterhorn stand had the Vampire Mickey.
  • The Main Street Fruit Cart did not have the Poison Apple cups, but they're still available somewhere in the parks (saw several guests carrying them around this morning).
  • The Plaza Inn, Jolly Holiday, and Coke Corner have the Castle Steins.
  • Round Halloween popcorn buckets and Halloween travel mugs are readily available throughout the park.
While I didn't get to every popcorn stand in the parks, I didn't see any guests carrying around the 60th anniversary popcorn buckets (balloons or mine train). So, I'm inclined to think they aren't available at this point (I also did not see any Dumbos).

What do the souvenir coffee mugs look like for halloween this year?

Also, are there photopass photographers out during the halloween party event?

The travel mug features an image inspired by the Lonesome Ghost cartoon. I don't have a photo right now, but I can post one tomorrow evening.

I saw PP photographers at select locations during MHP (e.g., character locations, Mickey Pumpkin in Town Square, etc.).

Last year there were Photo Pass CMs at various character locations, but not always. At our first MHP there were hardly any PP CMs and at our second MHP there were plenty. So it helps to have a phone or camera on hand, just in case. There were always CMs at the M&Gs willing to take your picture, just not always a PP CM.

Thanks Figment!! :)

This is the Halloween Travel Mug; it features the lonesome ghosts on both sides and Mickey, Goofy, and Donald in the middle.

The Halloween popcorn bucket has a similiar design:

For those that got the Zero popcorn bucket last year, this year's is very similar but slightly different. The pumpkin nose lights up (same as last year), but Zero also glows this year. You can tell he's made of the glow in the dark material. The 2015 version is on the left (slightly milky white) and the 2014 version is on the right (solid white).

He really does glow!

Lastly, the Poison Apple Mug really glows in the dark and glows really well!

I just showed my DS(5) this pic and he wants figment instead of the vampire mickey.
:rotfl:

As usual, LOVING Figment's outfits!!!!!
Thanks! I got a lot of practice with tiny rhinestones and glue this year!

These photos are great, figment_jii. Great report and updates :)
Thanks!
