Can Zero be seen anywhere besides Main Street during Halloween Screams? My son is a huge Jack Skellington fan and really wants to be able to see Zero the night we attend the Halloween Party but we usually try to avoid the overcrowding on Main Street at all costs! I plan on viewing the Disneyland Forever fireworks from the Small World area but read that Zero cannot be seen from that area. Is there anywhere for great fireworks viewing and Zero? It will be our first trip and only party night so we may have to squish into Main St if necessary to see it all. Will we miss out on anything watching the Disneyland Fireworks from Small World area?

I've read that you can catch a glimpse of the flying characters (e.g., Tinkerbell, Dumbo, Zero) between the trees from some of the F! viewing areas, but the only place to get a really good view of Zero (interacting with Jack) is going to be on Main Street.

They will be showing Halloween Screams, which Zero is in, not Disneyland Forever, which he is not, during the parties. The only way to see him clearly is from Main St.

I believe you can also see him if you're standing by Dumbo during the fireworks. We've stood there for other fireworks and had a clear view, plus it wasn't as crowded. I don't know how this will be with Screams, though, since the best view is from Main Street.

Can anyone confirm if Zero can be seen from Dumbo area? I really want to make the most of our first trip but my DH cant handle Main Street!
Would the area over by Pixie Hollow be a good firework viewing area or is it too far to the right to see the castle? The parade runs that route so we could stay in the same spot but I'm not sure if that area would be any less crowded than the hub? I have also read that Frontierland is a good spot for fireworks. Parades and fireworks are the hardest to plan being newbies! In WDW we have our favorite spots and I know the layout but I am clueless at Disneyland! lol

I'd also love to know if you can see zero from Dumbo. I'd love to be somewhere where we could see him, but won't have to devote a lot of the party to do so.

I think a lot of it depends on how good of a view you want of Zero. I haven't watched from over by Dumbo, but based on the angle, I do think you would be able to see when he's flying. I don't think you'll be able to see him when he's hovering in front of the castle interacting with Jack.

In terms of Disneyland Forever, the show was designed to be viewed from multiple locations around the park (Main Street, the Hub, IaSW Mall, and Frontierland/NOS). Each viewing location has their pros and cons. I think the IaSW area offers a good view, but you will have to turn around to see the Matterhorn, Nemo, and Tinkerbell.

You can see Zero best from the hub, trees block him from the sides so Pixie Hollow might not work. I have great footage of him from the middle of the hub and we only got to that viewing area about 20 mins before the show, it is crowded though. You could see Dumbo in the older fireworks from near Village Haus, so maybe you can see Zero from there too.

New to MHP and parades in general, what time do we need to get our spot for the parade? I don't need a perfect spot, but just able to see, I'm 5' 2" so a bit shorter..... Also what's the protocol for parades, sit/stand? Thanks!

There has only been one party so far, so it's hard to say how things will be in general, but at the first party on Friday there still pretty good spots on Main Street available for PtN less than 30 minutes before the parade stepped off from IaSW. Generally, the front row sits on the ground and everyone else stands. For fireworks, it's mostly all standing.
