Halloween Question

We will be at Disneyland for the first two days of the Halloween thing this year, September 29 and 30. Does anyone think that the rare characters will be out? I'm making my son an autograph book with the characters and am curious if we are going to get to see any of the villains or anything WDW has done a halloween thing in the past, did they have more rare characters out?

I believe they are supposed to have some out this year, but I think the majority of them will be at Mickey's Halloween Treat Event. I know the regular characters will be in costumes though, so that should be fun!
