Hi guys, my family is a bunch of halloweenies with myself as the self proclaimed "queen of halloween". Every year we do an annual Halloween bash. This year will be no exception, but it has to be extra special and spectacular. We are moving to Dallas in November and this party will be sort of a last hurrah and saying goodbye to friends and family. We plan to host trick or treaters and have our cute kiddie bash on Halloween night and then have the big blowout for the adults only on November 1. I need some great suggestions for food and treats, games, music and decor, of course I know we can use our old stanby's, but I want to really knock their sox off this year.
Thanks
Kim
I LOVE Halloween parties!

Since my DD's birthday is on October 21, we always do a Halloween birthday party for her. We have the old tried and true games like Bobbing-for-apples and the Doughnut Hang.
I have a Halloween cookbook at home that has all sorts of great and fun recipes for appetizers, main courses, desserts, soups, beverages, etc. When I get home from work tonight, I'll post some of these recipes for you!
I'm assuming that since you're the "Queen of Halloween", you have some great Halloween party music. That's always my favorite part! Each year I seem to find more and more Halloween-themed CDs. We have the "kiddie" type CDs which includes songs like "The Monster Mash", "Ghostbusters", "The Addams Family", etc., etc. The "grown-up" CDs basically contain horror movie themes like "The Exorcist", "Halloween", "Poltergeist", "The Amityville Horror", etc., etc. I also always love to play the Peanuts theme music, "Linus and Lucy", in honor of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!"
Well, I will post those recipes for you when I'm home and I'll do some searching for great ideas in the meantime.
