Hi - We plan to be at the Halloween Party on Sunday, October 3rd...has anyone been on the first Sunday, and if so, how were the crowds? Traditionally, I've read where Sunday is a low-crowd day in general...I'm wondering if this still holds true. Also, I know it will be hot hot hot....anyone ever seen any really clever costumes to combat the heat?

I really want to go to the festivities, but am scared of the crowds...would love to hear everyone's experiences with them.

Thanks!

MollyB,we were there the first Sunday last year(& we will hopefully be there the same Sunday this year!) I would say that the crowd was probably bigger that a normal day in early Oct but not too daunting! Trick or treat stations were probably a max of 10 mins, queues for the MNSSHP photos were large at the beginning so we just waited until later.
We tried to do all the rides, every photo & every thing else but 5/6 hours wasn't long enough, next time we'll only do the rides that are a must & then try to catch all the "sideshows" that we missed last time.
We didn't dress up last time but I think we'll make the effort this time(we were hoping to get our faces painted but that was a big queue!). i don't actually recall it being too hot that night but we were only in shorts & t-shirts!
Hope this helps SD:sunny:
