Halloween Party and Wima

Just curious -- Just a little worried about Wilma. Does anyone know if they refund or exchange MNSSHP tickets if they cancel due to the Hurricane????

The very first MNSSHP we attended was in 1997 (they only had two back then) one on the 30th and one on the 31st. That was the El Nino season where it rained and rained and rained for our entire vacation. This was our first trip (and we thought our only trip, but we joined DVC - that's another story). We had tickets for the five of us. It poured and poured and poured all day long. They left messages on the room phones that there were still tickets available for the party that night. Well, we went because it finally stopped raining a little bit. We lucked out.

They didnt' cancel either of the parties, even with all the rain. We have been to MVMCP in pouring rain, too. Last year we didn't get to see the Headless Horseman because the pavement was wet and they didn't want any accidents. It just poured during the parade and fireworks, so the parade got cancelled. But we did the trick or treat, got on the rides, and had a great time, both times.

If they close the park or cancel the party, you should get a refund. If they don't cancel the party, you might not get a refund, even if it is raining. They usually do the right thing, though, for the safety of the guests.
