Halloween Over Regular Hours

So coming as a regular at WDW. I'm chomping at the bit for park hours when we go end of October. Considering that those won't be out for a while, I did have a question...

I see that the Halloween Party entry is fairly early in the evening. Does that mean that the PARK closes EARLY to regular guests? Or is there a permitted overlap there?

In other words, if the Halloween Party guests are allowed in at say 6 ( I don't know if it's THAT early is it? ), does that mean park is closed by 6 or can regular guests still stay a little longer?

I'm not sure about end of October, but we are going to be there first week of October and DL closes at 6:00 to regular guests on party nights.

On party nights guests not attending have to leave at 6pm (on Monday and Wednesday parties) and 7pm on Friday, Saturday and Halloween. Party guest can enter the park 3 hours before the party starts, so there is an overlap and you will see attendance start to pick up in those three hours.

As others have stated, yes you will have to leave Disneyland by 6 or 7pm (depending on date of party) if you don't have a ticket. CMs will be checking for wristbands and escorting non party guests out. If you have a park hopper you could hop over to DCA for the rest of the night, but keep in mind everyone else who isn't attending the Halloween party will be doing that as well so it can get quite busy.

As the PP said, guests with MHP tickets are allowed to enter the park three hours before the party starts using their MHP tickets (similar to how things are for MNSSHP). So during this three hour period, park crowds will pick up noticeably. If the party starts at 6:00 pm, non-MHP are expected (and heavily encouraged) to leave the park at 6:00 pm. They will be check-points set up throughout the park where CMs will check for wristbands. Guests without wristbands will be directed back towards Main Street (and out of the park). You will not be able to enter any attraction lines, stores, or restaurants past the check-points after 6:00 pm (e.g., you cannot enter Star Traders to do any last minute shopping). You might still be able to enter the shops on Main Street, but we won't know for sure until after the first party.

In the past, non-MHP guests have been able to shop on Main Street for one hour after regular closing (until 7pm on Mon. & Wed., until 8pm on Fri. & Sat. & Halloween). But there are CMs posted at the end of MS to scan for wristbands and to turn back any guests without them.
