Halloween Options other than HHH

Hey!

Me and my 10 year old daughter are going to Universal October 30 - Nov 4. We are staying at Royal Pacific. She isn’t into the Halloween Horror Night stuff. Does anyone know of any other options for Halloween in the area? Do the Hotels do anything?

Check out what movies are at City Walk cinema for the early evening.

IOA will be open and it does not have hhn at all in their park.

The hotels do not do anything. If you want expensive, and about 40 minutes drive away, you can go to Disney's Halloween party at the Magic Kingdom. There is also the movie theater in City Walk, like Mac said. It's a Cinemark. There's also a mini golf, with 2 courses, in City Walk too. And as Mac also said, IOA will be open to around 9 that night. So, maybe enjoy some evening time in IOA, and then enjoy some City Walk food, shopping and fun. The hotel pool should also be open in the evening, so a later night swim may be a fun for some of the time, if warm enough.

The only Halloween themed thing I can think of that is local and you wouldn't spend a fortune on is the movies like @macraven said, or and this is still movie themed, check out what is playing at night at the hotel on Halloween night. I know typically there are movies that are played in the pool area at night. Now it's been ages since the last I went, but last time I went to the HRH they did a double feature type of thing and showed the It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and Nightmare Before Christmas on Halloween night.

Also, maybe since there isn't trick or treating at the resort area, perhaps let your daughter have dessert for dinner? I do not know about your, or her diet habits, but just a cute alternative to trick or treating and then eating a bunch of candy. Also, if you choose the right desert you can have portion control. That idea might be a little wacky for you, but it was the only unique thing I could think off the top of my head to go along with the theme of trick or treating / candy. I believe she could even dress up, as long as she's not in HHN.

The Halloween party at WDW is much better suited for a 10 year old than Halloween Horror Nights at Universal would be. If the one at WDW interests you at all, I'd recommend buying tickets soon because the party on Halloween there usually sells out.

We took an Uber to the WDW Halloween Party from Royal Pacific while we there for HHN. It was a little over 20 minute drive.

Thanks! At first I was going to be extra and say maybe visit at least two places at minimum and share a dessert to stick with the theme of "trick or treating" since you're going to one place then another. I mean adults do the same thing, but for bars, but thought just the suggestion of one dessert for dinner was enough.

Gatorland is having its first Halloween event this year. It's only $29.99 for adults and $19.99 for rugrats up to 12 years old.

In my town the zoo has a Halloween trick or treat plus dance, rides, and bounce houses for kids. Maybe the Orlando zoo does something similar.

EDIT: I forgot to also mention that our local zoo (Nashville) has added an outdoor haunted trail attraction the last few years. It's not HHN quality, but it defiantly helps add some fun for the pre-teen - adult attendees.
