Halloween on the High Seas missing?

I still see it on the Eastern Caribbean cruises on the Fantasy.

Depends on which screen you look at,
I don’t see it listed anymore on “Find a Cruise” page ….

There is no confirmed Halloween events for the Fantasy sailing on the Sept 18th per shoreside response. The Pirates night was also changed to Buccaneers night as well.

Unsure what it means but possibly 0 Halloween theming or possibly just no Halloween events.

I see that now too. First thing I checked was my cruise reservation and it was still there.

sorry, I should have been more descriptive in my original post. I’m on the 9/6 Dream 4 Night. TBH I really don’t care either way … wasn’t the reason I chose this cruise. I have a first timer on this trip, so to be able to enjoy the atrium sans decor will be fine ….

I know others will be disappointed though ….

Same for my 9/3 Dream sailing. When I look at my reservation page, it is a Halloween sailing, but if I look at booking new cruises, NONE of the upcoming sailings are listed as Halloween on the High Seas.

I definitely noticed my cruise being changed to a double dip, but totally forgot about Halloween. Thankfully...my upcoming cruise in Sept still listed as a HOTHS cruise. Last time they would not let me have any candy because I was too old. I was not too happy!

Are you looking at the "Find Cruises" on the DCL website too? I'm in the same boat as jrapps. My DCL app and reservation both say HotHS but when you look the same cruise up via "Find Cruises", there's not a single HotHS. I'm hoping I'm not too old for a chocolate on the bed at night at least :(

Hate to possibly upset you but the reports from the UK sailings said there were no chocolates left in the rooms....maybe US cruises will be different.

Hopefully just a system glitch. If you choose "More Filters" and choose "Halloween on the High Seas" all the cruises show up.

When did that become a thing? They used to let us go trick or treating even if we were adults - just like they do for the parties in the parks.

At this point city's are looking to discourage treat or treating in the U.S. again this year because of health concerns, I can see why that would be an even bigger concern on a ship.

It seems like it was a YMMV thing or just a lazy CM which is hard to believe. I made a post about it a few years ago and people were shocked I was refused candy. I was semi dressed up and went to one of the stations and they told me it was not for adults which made no sense because the stateroom host put Trick 'r Treat bags in our room! It was probably something I should have brought up to guest services just so they were aware that certain CMs were not giving out candy to guests.

I looked it up using your method and did not see any mention of HOTHS...very interesting. Perhaps it is some sort of glitch as others have said. It did come up once I applied the filter as Jkester suggested.

I’m friend with CM from DCL that did their test cruises the last couple of days and they received Dove chocolates on their beds at night 🤗 let’s hope they keep doing this!!

To add though in all the planning and the tentative daily schedule Halloween events are currently not scheduled or tentatively scheduled. They already updated said schedule with Buccaneers night so not like it's an old outdated schedule either.

There might be something but don't plan on any of the all ship gathering stuff that existed in the past is my take.

So what is Buccaneers night vs. Pirate Night? I've never heard of that.

Our October cruise on the Magic out of Miami is HOTHS, but nothing shows on the activities page for either that or Pirate (Buccaneer).
