After our walk thru Halloween land we were ready for the 3 highlights of this day. The first one was the dinner at the Blue Lagoon. The food and the atmosphere were great, as usual! You have to try the Crème Brulée! Delicious!

And then we went to the second highlight. My first BTM ride in the darkness. I can not believe that I have never done this ride in the darkness during the last 11 years and 10 visits. In the darkness it is a completely other ride. It is so much more fun. And you can see so much more in the darkness! Especially the bats in the tunnel!

And after this dream ride it was time for the third highlight. And this was also the highlight of the whole trip. It was 7:55pm and we went to PM and no one was there. We were the only two in the whole house! It was indescribable great. :worship:
We could here the narrator without any stupid screams or talking of other guests. And then the doors of the elevator opened and the CM in it looked at us while we were walking into. And then he showed two fingers to his colleague and he asked him without using any words: “Only the two?” And while the other CM was nodding he closed the door of the elevator. We two were already standing in the middle ot the elevator but the CM said:
"Please, move to the centre of the room!” This was hilarious! I enjoyed the rest of the house like never before. :thewave:

The next day started early with the Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast. It was very cold in the morning hours when we entered the park. I heard so many positive things about the chance to walk alone down Mainstreet but this morning it was a little different. Many of the visitors walked down Mainstreet to Fantasyland. And so it was like a normal day! But we enjoyed it anyway. And at least my boyfriend could take a picture with me in front of an empty castle. The breakfast itself was nothing special. And when we finished we were one of the first on Dumbo and Peter Pan. I haven’t done Dumbo since 2000 because on most of my visits the waiting time was at least 30 minutes. But this time we have done Dumbo more than one time. And because of the fun we had with Dumbo we have done Aladin in the studios 4 or 5 times. And after 4pm it was no problem to do another ride without leaving your carpet.

And with many other rides we made the same experiences. 1h after opening and 2h before closing we were asked many times at POTC, Indiana Jones and Dumbo if we want to do another ride. I’m really looking forward to Magic Unlimited because I want to do 20 times PM!
By the way, we have also done Indiana Jones more than 6 times, and my shoulders still hurt. But it is worth the pain. And on our next visit I want to try Rock N’ Roller Coster. I have heard it is not as hard as SM or Indie. I haven’t done SM since 2000. Maybe I should take the pain on the last day of our next visit? :confused3

At noon we left the park to try the pool of the Sequoia Lodge. And what can I say, like at many other opportunities on this trip we had the pool just for us. That was another great experience.
Don’t get me wrong. I whish the resort all the best, and I hope that many many guests will come, but I enjoy this moments of emptiness. It is great to have a part of the park or an attraction just for yourself. And I love to take pictures in the morning hours when I have the chance to find empty parts of the park!

After the relaxing in the pool we went back to the studios and after that little visit back to the Disneyland Park. It was time for another great Halloween parade.
But afterwards we had a little disappointment. We wanted to give the Plaza Gardens Restaurant another try. On our first visit in May the food was good, and I liked the atmosphere immediately, but the whole experience was destroyed by a very loud group of 30 very loud young people. This time the restaurant looked very nice to, and there were only gentle people; but therefore the food was ugh! :crazy2:
Nothing was labelled, I found many not cleaned plates, the most food was unidentifiable and cold, and it tasted not good. Its to bad about that very gorgeous restaurant.

We ended that day with another dark ride at BTM.

Our last day at the resort started like all other before. First we have done our favourites. (BTM, Indiana Jones, PM and POTC) and afterwards we had a reservation at the Walt’s. We had a very nice table in the Mainstreet room with a perfect view to the Mainstreet. The Walt’s is still my favourite restaurant in the whole resort. The food is great and the atmosphere is unique.

After that lunch we only strolled around a little bit and tried to take in as much Disney Atmosphere as we could.

All in all it was a perfect trip. The park was empty and we could do as much as we wanted. The only thing that was crowded every day was the Saloon Mickey. I don’t know why? ::MickeyMo

I will upload some photos of the trip this weekend.

Have a nice time.

Thanks for sharing marcus.:goodvibes

Wow, only the two of you in PM! And to do BTM in the dark, I cannot wait to do that on our next trip!

Sorry that you were disappointed at Plaza Gardens...again:sad1: Maybe it will be a case of third time lucky? ::yes::

Am looking forward to seeing your photos.:sunny:

Thanks for the trip report,

Like Elaine already said - what a shame about Plaza gardens, but isn't Walt's just fantastic it reminds me of the little house on the prairie or something!

Can't wait to see the photos.............. :goodvibes

Lovely report Marcus - thank you for all the interesting little details. It is great when the park is quiet, isn't it? But then you start to worry about the loss of revenue! I'm really looking forward to your photos.

Maecus, yet another great day :)
PM with only 2 of you - now that is my idea of heaven :goodvibes

I've not yet been brave enough to try PM. Usually I'm in the park on my own so I've no one to hang onto :rotfl2: Total strangers do not take kindly to you grabbing their hand in the dark! :rotfl:

Oh come on. PM is one of the reasons why we are so often in DLRP! It is just great. You will love it. And during the day with that many people there is no reason to be afraid. But I have to admit that I was a little scared to be alone in the elevator and in the rest of the house! :scared1: :scared1:

Hi Nik

I went to PM on my own during my last visit whilst DH looked after DD (3). It's more atmospheric scary than screamy scary. You'd really appreciate the ride I'd give a try on your next visit.

Ps. I'm the kind of person who can't go downstairs to the toilet after watching a scary film or programme !!

Thanks for sharing Marcus, glad to hear you had a great time!
