Halloween Night -- Fort Wilderness?

hi all -- going to be arriving in disney on Halloween! Cant wait!! suppose to be doing the party on nov 1 -- but maybe looking for a fun activity on halloween -- i thought i saw on here that fort wilderness was a lot of fun -- they do trick or treating and things? i just happen to be looking for dining and snagged us a 7:30 reservation at trail end? has anyone ate there -- it will be a new one for us -- how does that sound maybe go there around 5 trick or treat and then do dinner at trail end? any other fun spots on Halloween -- things not in the park? thanks!

Trail's End is a great place to eat dinner (or breakfast.)
The buffet is very complete with many delicious choices.

I'm not sure about the Trick or Treating in the campground.
There are a lot of nice campers (the kind you pull behind a truck) and "Winnebago-type" Mobile Homes in the areas.
I'm not sure how many guests will be home that night, and you may end up covering a
lot of territory (walking) between the camping loops.
It can be fun, but it is not exactly like Trick or Treating in a housing development
due to the layout of the camping loops.
