Halloween Night - Anything besides MNSSHP?

We may be at the World the week of and including Halloween this year. I don't think we want to go to MNSSHP on Oct 31st, so I was wondering if any of the resorts do anything that evening, or if there are any other alternatives? My DD(8) will miss not trick or treating at home, so we are looking for something special to do.

I have heard of a hayride with the headless horseman....I would check into that. I have never done it before, but it sounds like fun!

We love going to WDW for Halloween. We usually do MNSSHP earlier in the week, because Halloween night is way too busy. They do trick or treating at DTD. Also if you are staying on property they do all kinds of events at the resorts. Last year at the All Star Sports. The had trick or treating, a dance party, a sotume contest, and a ton of other things that are skipping my mind at the moment. It really was a ton of fun. We just love WDW at Halloween!

I agree disney is awesome at halloween there are tons of things to do when you check in be sure to ask! They usually have a flyer with all the events for each day posted! We've been over Halloween and Easter and Halloween wins! But you should definitely do the MNSSHP it's worth the price! They filled our bags to the tips with lots of awesome candy! Better than we ever would have gotten at home! And had more fun!!! When we were leaving they had this huge bin I mean huge! Filled with candy and they took youre bag and filled it up to the top if it wasnt already! We actually had to figure out how to pack it in the suitcase to get it home good thing it's october! LOL! And access to the rides is awesome because the kids are all worried about trick or treating! It's great!
