I couldn't sleep and I know a lot of people are interested in what kind of Halloween merchandise Disney has out this year so I thought I'd post! I took a good amount of pictures last week, to capture the whole Halloween spirit when we were there for the 9/15 MNSSHP.

The first pic is of the porcelain Mickey ear pumpkin votive holder. My mom wanted one of these so bad and figured she'd pick it up at the end of our trip (the night of 9/21). By then, the Christmas shop at DTD, our resort, and the World of Disney had all sold out of them- I guess they had been flying off the shelves according to a CM we talked to. They were only $8 a piece, and I think the best deal of the Disney Halloween merchandise they had out. So if you see them and want one, make sure to pick it up. If we had known earlier, it would have been easier to grab one- they were at MK in a bunch of places, and at MGM too but we didn't have time to go back by the time we realized.

This snow globe is $18. Remember to check this baby in your luggage folks- we almost had to throw ours out at the Orlando airport!

In this display you can see two items that we saw everywhere. The ghost is holding orange mickey ear pumpkin lights, and the pumpkins to the right and left are trick or treat mickey ear pumpkins with a face that glows in the dark. (has a face on one side, "Trick or Treat" on the other).

A display at POR's gift shop- here you can see the beanies they sold, Mickey and Minnie dressed in the same outfits that they are in on the snow globe pictured earlier, and Goofy dressed as something or other (he essentially had black wings and was wearing a barrel- what the heck was he??). To the right of the goofys in this pic is a shiny black garland decoration with orange mickey ears on it.

A final display at the halloween shop by the Haunted Mansion. Inside the ghost heads are assorted antenna topers (black with bat wings, Mickey pumpkins and ghost mickey heads). You can also see the beanies better in this pic.

Feel free to post any pics of merchandise that I missed! (or better pics of what I already posted). I didn't take any pics of the pins or the shirts but I've seen them posted on here before.

Alreadying editing to add: I remembered that they also had Mickey halloween window clings and Halloween scrapbooking sets! And of course, halloween candy. :)

Thank you so much for the photos! My family and I will be down there in 2 days(did I really say 2 days! :woohoo: :cheer2: :yay: ) We are crazy for Halloween and are attending 2 parties. I was wondering if you saw any Halloween or MNSSHP picture frames? Thanks again! :thumbsup2

Oh I LOVE the photos! Thanks so much for posting! I hope someone will take pictures of the Christmas items once they go on display.

on the actual day of the halloween party they do put out a frame - it lights up and it's only $20. my friends bought one. they also put out a shirt and a mickey beanie dressed as a grave digger.

Thank you so much for this thread. Look like you stayed at POR (our usual). I would be such a sucker for halloween displays like that. In May, I did buy that mickey head pumpkin votive. :woohoo: I put it out two days ago. Love it! I want that big ghost head candy holder and the little ghost figurine with the lights.

What did you get?

Thanks so much for posting these! I can't wait to get there and SHOP!

Thanks for posting the pictures, love the pumpkin votive and the snowglobe. I can already see my box to be shipped home filling up fast!

Bev

Thanks for the pictures! I can't believe we'll be there, shopping the World, in less than a month! Your pictures helped make it seem even more real!!!

P.S. We're taking an empty suitcase to fill up on all the Halloween goodies and NBC stuff!!! Woo!Hoo!

I am wondering that too. I see the ones in the photo say youth, but I was wondering if they had adult too. I have just not had time to get costumes for dh and I, so we are just wearing Halloween t-shirts, but I would get those ears and wear them too if they were big enough.

So Mickey's Cpt. Hook, Minnie's the Evil Queen, Donald's Jafar, Daisy's Maleficent, Pluto's Scar, and Goofy's Chernabog. Sweetness.

They will put your name on it... I had a freind get one earlier this month!.. Not sure about the hat sizes though...

And to the OP!!! THanks so much for sharing your photos! We leave Sunday and now I am even more excited (if that is posible!!! lol)

Thanks for posting the great pictures! I am taking my kids next year, so will have to wait until then to get some cool Halloween stuff! What do they say...good things come to those who wait???? :)

laurabearz - thanks for the reply...I've got a big head & big hair to match lol, guess I'll have to wait & see.

hope everyone who's going in Oct. has good weather & a great time.:thumbsup2

Can anyone tell me how much the string of Mickey pumpkin lights are? Have a co-worker going to WDW in a couple of weeks and would like to give him $$ to pick me up a set (or 2).

Oh my goodness! Goofy's dressed as Chernabog!

That was my guess. I love the idea of Mickey and Minnie dressed as villians. Can't wait!

OP here- I'll try and answer some of the questions...

As for picture frames- yes they had picture frames. They were purple and black mostly- with all the characters on them dressed in their Halloween outfits. They were cute- if we had had a cute Halloween pic taken of ourselves we probably would have gotten it. If I remember correctly they were kind of made out of cardboard (high quality though- obviously).

The "youth" pumpkin hats- my fat head fit in it so I think they'd fit almost anyone (I've tried to put on the youth ones at the parks and they've never fit!). You can get your name embroidered on it for $2 (just like all other Mickey hats).

Totally forgot about the gravedigger Mickey beanie. I saw someone else's pic on here of that one and saw it at the Emporium at MK.

I don't remember the price on the Mickey pumpkin lights. I have seen a few sets on ebay starting at $22 but no one posted the original price (imagine that). I'm sure you could call Disney merchandising and ask.

They also were selling Haunted Mansion gravestones for $50 a piece. Here's one on ebay: Brother Dave There's a Cousin Huet one too. I remember seeing these at the holiday store in MGM (on your right as you walk towards the ToT).

We bought a bunch of Halloween pins, and the snowglobe. We were going to buy the porcelain Mickey pumpkin, but like I said- they were out. I may end up calling Disney merchandise to see if they could ship one to my mom as a surprise. :) I did want the candy bowl because it's perfect for handing candy out on Halloween but we live in an apt complex that doesn't get much traffic on Halloween

Okay, I know I'm more than a little blonde sometimes.... but who/what the heck is a chernabog?
