Hi guys

We're visiting WDW from 29th October to 7th November, am I correct in thinking we'll see both the Halloween and Christmas seasons/decorations? I read somewhere that as soon as the park closes on 31st October, it's Christmas by morning......? ;)

In Magic Kingdom yes. The other parks and resorts take longer. We are going the same general time (did it last year as well) and it was great! :) I will say though, that going back into MK after the switch, I was NOT prepared to hear Christmas music playing! It had me thrown off all day, lol

The last Halloween party is on Nov 1 this year. After the end of the party they will take down the Halloween and Fall decorations and start putting up the Holiday decorations immediately. The MK will be fully decorated for Christmas by the first MVMCP on Nov 9. The other parks will be slower in being decorated and the resorts will not be fully decorated until Friday November 24. You will probably see the Gingerbread House in the Grand Floridian lobby being constructed, but it won't be completed while you are there.
