This year, from 7 October to 5 November 2006, you’re invited to a horrorific Halloween celebration like no other at Disneyland Resort Paris. Between family or friends, one thing is certain - you'll turn blue with fiendish terror!
For several years now, the magic kingdom of Disneyland Park has been invaded by the callous Pumpkinmen who set out to paint the whole park orange. Their plan was thwarted last year as Gruzella and her army of Pink Witches crash landed into the park and added a dazzling spark of pink magic to the Halloween proceedings. This year, however, the park looks set to be overrun by the smallest - yet most devilish - rascal of them all - it’s Stitch, of course!
At the beginning of each dark day on Main Street, U.S.A., a Halloween cavalcade kicks off the fiendish festivities with tricks and treats for those brave souls who keep their cool! Stitch, joined by a motley collection of Disney characters such as Alice, Peter Pan, Pinocchio and Lilo, gets every guest involved in the spooktacular new 'CharacteriStitch Halloween Party' celebration.
Once again Frontierland will be transformed to Halloweenland and our Halloween favourites, the Pumpkin Men and Pink Witches, will be conjuring up a festival the whole family will enjoy.
Full of life and overflowing with energy, the mischievous blue extra-terror-estrial will be taking command of a rhythmic season of musical Halloween festivities at the renamed 'FantaStitch Stage'. From saxophone bands and creepy dance parties led by classic Disney characters to vicious dance-offs between the Pumpkinmen and Pink Witches, this is the place to be for eerie entertainment delights throughout the day!
Halloween is all about family fun with a rascally edge, and transforming yourselves into unique, fearsome Halloween creatures is all part of the fun! At the monstrous Halloween Hairdressing salon, the Pink Witches and their assistants will give children a horrifying Halloween hair-do, whilst the giant pumpkin on Central Plaza is the home of Disney's wild and wacky Make-Up artists. The whole process is horror-free (until you see the final result!) and free of charge for guests aged 3 to 11 inclusive.
If the stars of the 'Disney Villain Parade' have their way, Stitch most certainly won't have the final word at this year's festival. They burst onto the parade route in a grim procession of ghoulish horrors, nasty bad guys and cackling witches. Ursula, Jafar, the Wicked Witch, Cruella de Vil, Gaston and more... they're here to show that Stitch's modern mischievous ways are no match for their classic brand of villainous behaviour!
Big or small, orange or pink, come join in the Disney fun of this spine-chilling season!

31st October 2006, 8.30pm to 1am. Tickets: €29, advance purchase only.
Disney's Halloween Party Night has all the ingredients of a frightful night of fun and mischief. As the gates re-open from 8.30pm to 1am, the villains are let loose on the crowds of guests in fancy dress to bring an unmissable atmosphere of ghoulish delight to the park.
The dauntless Captain Jack Sparrow, the pirate hero from Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, runs riot in Adventureland, whilst Peter Pan teases Captain Hook on the majestic galleon. The Pumkinmen and Pink Witches invite guests to join in spontaneous dance parties featuring energetic rock rhythms, whilst Main Street U.S.A. is cast under the atmospheric shadow of a ghost ship theme, with countless villains, pirates, acrobats, percussionists and entertainers dazzling crowds with spooky spectacles!
The night comes to end as the whole park is illuminated by a spectacular fireworks display over Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Sounds amazing!

Yes we are...and these are the intended costumes:

me - Tia Dalma
DH - Capt Jack Sparrow pirate:
DD - Emily the Corpse Bride
DS - Beetlejuice
DSD - Sally from Nightmare before Christmas
DSS - Darth Vader
We are going with DS's best friend's family and they are somewhat undecided, but we think two of the lads are going as The Phantom from Phantom of the Opera and Zorro!

All I need now is to get on with the costumes!!!

We have been to DLP during Halloween. It was loads of fun seeing the Pumpkinmen displays.

Woody

I loved the classic feel of Halloween at Disney Paris. IMHO the pink witches were bad enough but Stitch has no business being part of the Halloween festivities.
