Halloween in the Resorts?

Do the resorts do anything for halloween, or are the festivities reserved for MNSSHP and parks?

I don't think they do anything at the hotels. Maybe on the actual day, but not currently.

DH and DS are there now and the hotels don't do anything but Magic Kingdom does, especially during party night

We stayed at POR during Halloween, and they didn't do anything for the kids.

Two years ago we stayed at Boardwalk Villas and they had Trick or Treating down on the Boardwalk. I don't know if they will do it again or not. It was only on the 31st.

Last year we were at Pop on Halloween and they did a TON! They had a kids dj dance party. They had trick or treating. Games. A pumpkin carving contest. The best part was that they transformed the bridge over the lake into this spooky maze. It was awesome! I don't know if the other resorts do anything Halloween night, but Pop sure did!

Downtown Disney also had events on 10/30 and 10/31 last year. We went to DTD on 10/30 and there was trick or treating in the stores, a kids DJ, and street performers (magician, etc).

Between DTD on 10/30 and Pop on 10/31, we had a great time!

We'll be at BCV and I was hoping there was some trick-or-treat option for the kids since we're not doing MNSSHP. I was actually willing to trick or treat in the villas if that's done and come with my own collection of candy to give out and a pumpkin to decorate. I guess I'll wait and see what's offered and/or ask Beach Club at check-in. I would want to participate if there is something available less costly than MNSSHP which we tried last year. Here's hoping...

You could call your resort and ask. At the very least you can decorate your room to put you in the spirit. I do know that MK has decorations up that they never had before.

I'm hoping they still have tix for MNSSHP for the 30th when we get there. If not, we'll need to explore these options. If POP has the same thing that they had last year, then we ought to be ok.
