Halloween Horror Nights

Does it effect the number of rides open and fun stuff to do during the day? I'm planning on being in the Universal Resort on the 9th and noticed that Halloween Horror Nights is also happening on that day. Any help would be greatly appriciated! thanks!

HHN does not affect any part of the Studios during the day...you probably won't see anything more than a few props or banners...if that.

If anything, you may see less people there during the day since it is a bit slower that time of year. At night for HHN is when the crowds come.

The Studios will close at 5pm and then reopen at 6:30pm for HHN. The crowds will start showing up around 3pm on HHN days.

Since I read that it's at Universal Studios park and not Islands of Adventure, will it only be crowded over at the Studios or will some of those crowds spill over to IOA?

IOA is open until 7pm on HHN nights so the crowds might very well be there too. But...the crowds will leave IOA in the late afternoon and go to the Studios.
