Halloween Horror Nights

Phew, okay I'm back!
It was so much fun!
I'll tell you all about it after dinner & guitar, which will be around 8...
But I'll tell you my camera broke. :headache:
I was so mad, so I thought of using my phone which is really bad quality, but I ended up only taking one picture of the Universal Studios sign. xD

Sucks your camera broke though. :headache:

Yeah I know. :headache:
My mom figured it out this morning though...the battery was in backwards.  Well if I get to go again this weekend I'll definitely bring it and know how to use it. xD The only picture I took was on my phone and it was of the Universal sign when you're turning into the property. It's really bad quality because I was in a car. I tried to take a picture of the giant tv when you first go in the park but I was trying to take it while walking and people were rushing me. xD

Okay so, I guess I'll start my little report. :teeth:

This will be Part 1, because I won't be able to finish before we have to go out to eat for my dad's birthday.

The amount of people coming kept changing but finally we got it figured out the day of HHN. There were 3 adults, one being my dad, and 8 of us kids [I think if I'm coutning right xD]. Well one of them was my friend's cousin, who is technically an adult but wasn't really chaperoning haha.

So we took three cars, and I rode with two of my friends, and my dad and one of their dads. Wow this is confusing so I'll just give them nicknames. The friends I rode with were Bee and Chels. And in one of the other cars, was my other friend's dad, MNB, KiKi, and hmm...what to call him...I guess we'll just call him by his real name, Thomas. And in the other car, was BroBro [don't ask xD] and his cousin Mikey [the sort of adult :laughing].

We all stopped at the McDonalds drive thru and ate while we drove. On the way there we sang songs and pointed out the Bloody Mary billboards. xD When we drove into the lines where you pay for parking, I was waving to everyone but my dad made me stop. Something about "the wrong crowd"? :rotfl:

We finally arrived at CityWalk and Bee and I needed to take a potty break so we did. xD Then we walked to Universal Studios and, this would be the point where people started freaking out [remember I was the only one that's actually been before? xD]. I was attempting to comfort them while we walked in.

So we saw the giant T.V. screen of Bloody Mary, that was pretty cool! The first thing we saw inside the park was these weirdo alien looking things with mirrors for faces. xD We had to walk by and check our hair of course. They were so friendly.

I guess I'll end Part 1 with the first scarezone, with the flying monkeys. That was really cool! It looks like fun.

Since I have to go, I'll have to write the rest when I get home! :teeth:

The battery was in backwards. I would probably do something like that too! XD
I tried to record the video at the entrance, but the video came out white on my camera for some reason. I was standing really far back, like at the end of the bridge, maybe that's why. :confused3 Same thing happened when I tried to take a picture.

I love Part 1 of your trip report!

BroBro

The wrong crowd? Maybe he means the people that typically go to HHN are bad? Can't argue with him on that. XD
I'd hate to see what would happen if you tried to play the pirate and ninja game with them. XD

Love how they started freaking out before you guys even walked in.

We saw those weird guys with the mirrors too! While we were waiting to get in they were dancing. XD

Yeah! The same was happening with me too. Creepy.

Yeah that's probably what he meant. xD Haha I totally should have! :rotfl: That would be interesting...

When we first walked in they were all like hyperventalating[sp?]. I'm like guys it's gonna be okay. xD

Haha the mirror guys were funny! Except on the way out when we tried to get close to them again and then all of sudden they made their mirrors/faces light up blue. We were geez I thought you guys were nice! xD

Okay, I guess I'll start Part 2 now!

So after that first scarezone we went back through, I'm pretty sure it was American Gothic? It was the one that was right near it on the left sorta.
It was creepy because at the end of it this old creepy guy holding a gun looked at Bee and I and licked his lips.  We were like, okaaayyy...

After that, we were really hyper and kind of weren't paying attention to where we were going and somehow we ended up in the Express Lane for Barney. :rotfl: We realized where we were then walked back through Fractured Tales. We saw this guy there with a bruised and bloody face, and KiKi goes, "OMG what happened to your face??" [he was a scareactor, my friend isn't really that rude. xD] And then he told her he got a facial. But he wouldn't tell us where. xD

We saw Scary Tales already had a 60 minute wait, but we decided to wait it out because I told them you said it was the best. We were all waiting in the line, and about halfway through KiKi got really sick. I think it was nerves, but she said she felt like she was going to throw up so MNB and Thomas's dad took her back to these bushes. She didn't throw up, but she had to skip out. Those three left the line.

The rest of us finally got to the entrance! We were so excited. It was really awesome and totally worth the wait! In the beginning there were like these demon things on a stage type thing and they were staring Mikey and I down and finally they started squrting us with water guns. We were what was that for??

I'm trying to remember it, and some of the really cool things I do remember was the lady that got sucked up in the bed, that was crazy, the giant bear, and the garden with the creepy Tin Man. That was awesome! Bee and I were walking and we saw the shadow of the old lady from Snow White holding an apple, so by instinct we were trying to move away from her to the left but right then someone popped out at us. We freaked out so bad. xD We were like surrounded!

The hallways with the mirrors were pretty cool too. I'm not sure what that was for, but I remember you saying Bloody Mary was in other places in the park but I don't think that was supposed to be her. But then I again I really don't know. xD

After that we walked out laughing and saying it was sooo worth the wait. We met up with KiKi, who was still feeling sick, MNB and Thomas's dad [aka Wolf. He's the one who was determined to scare Bloody Mary.] KiKi got this really cool Bloody Mary shirt that said "Say it one more time...I dare you." You probably saw it. It was everywhere! xD She also got these flashing devil horns.

I was telling everyone how before we went into Scary Tales I saw on the electronic board saying the waits said that Interstellar Terror and Doomsday were 10 minutes so we should check those out. We started walking and we walked past Reflections of Fear by Jaws [I think Jason was there last year] and Dead Exposure [which was by MIB, and I'm pretty sure that's where Jack the Clown was last year], both 90 minutes! We kept walking and we walked through the Simpsons Ride area, and all the werewolves...wait maybe they were zombies? xD I can't remember, but a werewolf/zombie and I had a growl off. It was crazy. We just sat there for like 5 minutes just growling at each other. Then finally he walked away.

Anyway I think that my original post was too long to fit in one so I'll have to divide it up here. xD

Okay, here's the rest. :goodvibes

We kept walking, and walking, past reallllyyy long waits. Finally my dad said we're just wasting our time walking around and we should at least be in a line. So we stopped by the next haunted house we saw, Doomsday. It had gone from a 10 minute wait to a 75 minute wait! All of us except for KiKi, Thomas, and Wolf went into it. They gave us tickets before we went in, I guess maybe to prevent cutting? I don't know. There was a giant TV screen playing clips from the movie and on the outside of the building a giant "RIP" was written in blood. We waited in that line forever. Finally we could hear the chainsaws and soon we went in.

It was really cool! The scenery and props were really well done I thought. There was this huuuge guy in this little cellar at one point and he walked out, and MNB goes, "Oh...I am so sorry if we're disrupting you or anything...really..." and he was like "Keep walking midget." xD

Then there was this guy in a jail who jumped down and broke out of his chains. xD It was pretty cool.
Oh yeah, the stage guy was crazy and...interesting? xD

Doomsday was really cool! After that, we walked down the street to the Mummy [65 minute wait :(] and Streets of Blood. Wolf was out there and told us KiKi and Thomas were in the Mummy. We walked through Streets of Blood a couple times, then took another potty break and decided to go to Body Collecters. It was a 45 minute wait, not bad compared to the others. xD BroBro and Mikey had to leave a little early, because BroBro's mom wanted him home early.

So, all of us, except Kiki, Thomas, and Wolf got in line for Body Collecters. The first part we pretty much ran through because there was no one there. Some Streets of Bloody scareactors walked by the line, and one was carrying a dead body and MNB goes, "You stole that from my trunk!!".  One of the guys just looked at her so weirded out. xD Soon KiKi, Thomas, and Wolf ran up to us and got in line with us. But after about 45 minutes, the line ahead was HUGE. We didn't even think it was our line at first, but we asked an employee and he said it would be another hour from there. We were like, are you serious?? :scared1: Unfortanatly, he was. We waited for about 10 minutes, and then decided that we really didn't feel like waiting and all of us except for Thomas and Wolf got out of line and decided to back to some scarezones.

It was almost 11 at that point, and the park was closing at 12. :( We walked through the Skoolhouse and Asylum in Wonderland. Bee and I were walking through that one and I was talking to her, and she just goes, "Els, Els, ELS!!" and then I turned to my right and this scareactor was RIGHT in my face. Scared the crap out of me! xD

At about 11:10 my dad and Chels's [and BroBro's, but they have different moms so that's why he had to leave earlier] dad started leading us out the exit. We were like nooo. :( It didn't even close until 12 but they wanted us home early since it was a school night. I was kind of upset because I really wanted to get another house done and Interstellar Terror was only half and hour wait. I wish I had waited in Body Collecters, Thomas and Wolf said it was really good and right after we left apparantly this huge group decided to get out of the line and then they moved up a ton.

In CityWalk we all got churros and coke then headed out. We were all like dead tired so we were all sleeping in the car.

But even though we only got 2 houses done it was super fun! I really hope I can go again. If I am, it's either going to be this Saturday or next. I don't think I can wait until next year!

Awesome trip report!!

Yep, that was American Gothic! I remember the guy with the gun! He was creepy. XD

:rotfl:
When I read you guys wandered into Barney it made me think of Joe! Totally something he would do, except he would be going into the express lane for Barney on purpose.
I too would love to know where he got his facial! XD

Aww, sucks KiKi wasn't feeling well. Sometimes when I get nervous I feel like I'm going to throw up too. But since I'm stubborn I ignore it. XD

I'm glad you liked Scary Tales! The detail in that house is great.
I don't know if she was supposed to be in the mirrors in that house or not, I don't remember seeing her. But I know she was in The Hallow!

Oh yeah I know what shirt you're talking about! That's the one I want to get!

Woah those are crazy waits! Last night it wasn't too bad, longest I saw was 45 minutes I think?

They're zombies. XD Haha growling at each other.

Doomsday was cool! It was my least favorite, but still an awesome house. You went through my favorite and least favorite houses.
Yeah I don't get why the guy on the stage is there. For a distraction so somebody else can scare you maybe? XD

65 minutes for Mummy?!? I wonder why it was so busy that night? It was a 10 minute wait last night.

Aww Body Collectors was my second favorite house! I can't blame you for getting out of line though, it sounds like it was crazy long!

:rotfl:
I had something like that happen! I was walking and all of the sudden a scareactor came up behind me then ran in front of me and screamed in my face.

I really hope you get to go again! I want to see what you think of the rest of the houses. One thing I forgot to tell you about Interstellar Terror, it has one of those rotating tunnels and you get all disoriented walking through. It's so fun!

Haha he was just staring us down, it was rather creepy. xD

:rotfl: That is something he would totally do! xD
Yeah me too. Maybe I'll ask him if I go again.

Yeah, that's probably why she was sick. She blamed it on the McDonalds though.

Scary Tales was really awesome! Oooh I wish we went in the Hallow then! It was right next to Scary Tales too! xD And only 45 minutes at the time. And we thought that was long before.

Haha yeah that shirt was really funny! xD I would've gotten it if I brought my money.

Yeah I was really surprised, I thought it wouldn't be that crowded on a Sunday night. I was really surprised. It makes me want to get the Express pass next year [I think they sold out this year] but they were really expensive.

Haha I realized they were zombies when I reread your report. xD I have no idea why I thought they were werewolves.

Doomsday was cool but I liked Scary Tales better. Well, I think he was part of the movie because there were these dancers and a singer on a stage in one of the clips they were playing on the giant TV thing. xD

I know! The waits were crazy long. When we first walked in around 6:45 they weren't bad but we were going through the scarezones. Now I regret that and wish we went to the Haunted Houses first. :(

Ugh and now I regret getting out of line. We hardly got to do anything after getting out line anyway. Have you done all the houses now?

That guy freaked me out so bad! But I was laughing so hard after it.

Thanks me too! xD I really wanted to do all the houses this year. If I go again, it'll either be tomorrow or the 1st. I don't think we'll be able to go on a weekday. But there's a fat chance we'll go tomorrow so probably the 1st. I keep seeing all these ads that are saying "2 weeks left!" I'm like nooo. :sad1: xD

Oh yeah I know what you mean about the Interstellar Terror!
We were watching videos before we went and we were watching these,
