Would you let your child watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show?
If not, then I would rethink
HHN (I used that as an example because they have a RHPS live show that holds NOTHING back, from scantily clad actors to full-on audience participation lines).
Jack's show was extremely gory and suggestive too, and held out on an open stage (vs. RHPS, which was in the Beetlejuice theater). Let's just say that several people were sent to a bloody demise on stage, and after one Jack...well...uh, he had his own "happy ending."
The haunted houses are very intense, with lots of scareactors and effects such as fog, darkness, strobes to blind you, mirrors, etc...all the stuff that makes haunted houses great.
There is NO comparison to the Disney event. This is NOT an event for kids, especially easily scared ones or ones with "virgin ears." For adults, it is AWESOME!!
