Halloween Horror Nights Tickets

Hi,

I'm coming over from the UK for 2 weeks, from the 28th september, just in time for the start of halloween horror nights.

I know tickets are available now to buy online, the trouble is I don't have a credit card.... How likely is it that I'll be able to buy tickets for the 5th (the first saturday) when I get there? Do they usually sell out well in advance?

Well, Oct. 5th is listed as non-peak...for what it's worth. I think that the consensus is that going at that time, while it IS a ways off from Halloween offers lighter crowds, so that's why some people are opting to go then. You will probably get alot of locals who are regulars to the event, etc., but I don't think you'll have trouble buying your tickets when you get there. You arrive a week ahead of time too, that should help.
Have you tried calling Universal to see if they have any other payment options? Are you staying onsite? Maybe they can charge it to your room and you can send payment ahead seems like there is still enough time to send a check or money order...

I'm confused. We've only done HHN once before (in 1998) when we bought the 'Stay and Scream', or whatever it's called. We've deliberately <i>not</i> bought tickets in advance because I thought there was some benefit in getting the <b>Stay and Scream</b>. We'll be staying onsite (at HRH) the nights of 18 and 19 October and were planning on doing HHN on 19th. Should we be getting tickets now?
