Dead Silence was an OK movie. It had scary moments and some cheesy ones but I think if done right a Dead Silence house could be really fun.

I wish that we could go this year. We really like Jason.

OMG, this seriously SUCKS!!

I am a Freddy freak. I dressed up as him last year for halloween (mask, sweater, glove, fedora...you name it) and plan to this year. And, yeah, I'm a grown up with a kid of my own, but I grew up on Freddy.

I'm so not gonna be able to make it down to Fl for this.

Man, that bites so hard!

ETA: I'm also a general horror movie buff, so, yes, I will be mourning my loss of Jason and Leatherface. Dammit

I'm never gonna get over this....do they repeat themes ever??

Yes, these characters have been used before and I'm sure they'll be used again. This might be the only time they're actually used to represent the event though. Any appearances in the future would probably be smaller.

Are you feeling a little better now about going to HHN?

We've never been to HHN before but we have tickets this year for one night. I am wondering if it be ok for my 13 year olf boy? I've looked at some of the pictures people have posted and I see some younger kids in them...Also, do the regular rides close during the nights of HHN. We will be at UO for the week but only have tickets to one HHN.

If he likes scary stuff then I think he is old enough. If he scares easily I would not take him. It can be pretty intense if you dont like that sort of thing.

Metro, I am very excited to go!! I love Universal, and I do love horror flicks. I am just a scardey cat. But, as I told you before. I hold it inside. You won't see me running, or screaming. lol. I hope I won't But, I am way overexcited to be going! My fav ride is the Mummy!! So, being able to go on the ride's in the day, and then being scared at night. Seems, like a great combination to me!

By the way, I finally rented Dead Silence. I thought it was ok. I liked the twist to it in the end.

Glad you liked the movie...I liked the ending too. When I heard the people who did "Saw" was doing that one, I thought about the ending. Anyway...

Universal is already hyping HHN on the moving signs in the walkways from the garages into CityWalk...saw that today. I didn't see any other promos...yet.

I've only been on one of the dragon's. I was scared. But, it was exhilirating. Whenever we do get to meet. We will have to ride our favorite ride the Mummy together. Just maybe, I can conjure up the nerve to ride the other dragon. I never rode.

Metro, I am not going to scream. I may laugh a bit, but screaming on the Mummy?? When kids as small as 5 can get on the ride. Now, if we go on one of those dragons. I can scream for you alright. I would scream "Metro, why did you take me on this ride", over, and over. Do you scream, or are you silent?
