6. Where does Halloween Horror Nights take place?

This year's event takes place at Universal Studios Florida®.

OMG! I am so hyped about my first HHN, after first becoming aware of them 16 years ago!! :woohoo: I'm really looking forward to discovering what the theme/houses will be this year, with the rest of you guys on this thread :thumbsup2

hey everyone! i just noticed that HHN tickets are available already. I just have one question -- the restrictions note that regular park admission tickets must be purchased in conjunction with stay and scream..but what if i already have tickets? is there anyway to get stay and scream in advance without buying more tickets?!

thanks for any info!!

You can either wait and do it in the park on the day you want to do HHN or call Universal and they can sort it out for you. Unfortunately there's no way you can do it on the website without buying both at the same time.

hi vinvader..thanks for your help!

the only issue i would have with waiting to upgrade at the park is -- what if stay and scream is sold out on the night that I want to go? or does it not work that way for guests already in the park that day?

thanks!

I understand you not wanting to risk waiting, I've never known HHN to sell out on any of the times that I've been (though I only ever go on off peak days Thurs Sun and the odd Wednesday) I'm sure one of the HHN experts on here will be along to advise you better. :)

Dude, I was just going to ask this very same question. Thanks for the great answer :thumbsup2
I think I'm going to give them a call, as I don't want to be stressing about a possible sell-out on the night we want to go (no matter how unlikely) :)

I wanna go so BAD but just thinking about it makes me almost pee my pants...Dh wants to trade me in for someone "tough enough to go" LOL

Sorry if this has been asked before we will be there for the opening night and the night after (a Saturday which I have read are busy) are these two night going to be equally busy

Saturday will be busier than Friday night. I always go opening night and the crowds aren't too terribly bad but it will still be busy.

ok so it definately won't be at IOA?????
No one knows for sure yet.

About IOA vs USF, it has been confirmed that it will not be at IOA. HHN Rumors got this after asking Universal for hours:

Finally something with meat! Anon has stepped his game up yet again. This time Anon emailed someone at Uni asking for dates/times so that he could book tickets to fly over for the event. I can't blame anon for doing this because in years past we typically have the park hours posted online by now. The bad news, no extra dates. (at least not on this list, so it could change - wouldn't get your hopes up though) But this does confirm the event will only be at USF and not IOA.

i was on the HHN website link as posted (thanx!) and DS wondered why Resident Evil 2 'save room theme' was playing?!?

it sure sounds like it to me - once the piano part starts on U site...i got a smrt kid:) see the above link to see what u think? does U own the rights to Resident Evil or is it a coincidence?

It's just a coincidence I'm afraid, Midnight Syndicate do a lot of the music for HHN and their website....

Here's what I would do...Since you already have your park tickets and can purchase the S & S upgrade, call Universal a couple of days before you want to go and see what the ticket situation is. If there are plenty of tickets available, just purchase the day you're going to be there. If you are concerned about a sell out, call Universal and purchase the tickets over the phone. You will need to give them the park ticket #'s to verify you have park tickets already since this is a discounted HHN ticket you would be buying. Does that make sense?

I am scared sh*tless...but I am going to face my fear cause I'm a freak like that! I'm just going to practice a fake amused face so that the creatures don't see my fear and prey upon it. Hopefully they can't smell fear or I'm in trouble! LOL!

Ok sorry Im really new to all this but when will be able to purchase the express que jumper
