Halloween Highlights (2025)

I have some really cute ones, but it's too early in the morning to ask their parents for permission to post them 😆

Instead, I present our jack-o-lantern, and our friends' blow-up "Baby Yoda" ~

I have a bit of a Nutcracker obsession (my daughter is a ballet dancer) so of course these come out first to make an appearance for the spooky season before the Christmas season

My giant skelly moved to the backyard this year and I think this will be his home again next year....

Love that Doom Buggy! They look good on your front entrance any time of year!

My favorite memory of this Halloween was making a 3 year old Sully (from Monsters inc) smile. She looked over what was on my tray ( at that time only chocolate stuff was left).

She sadly shook her head and said no thank you. I tried to find out what the problem was. She left the porch area and started walking back to her parents. Her older brother indicated she had a dairy allergy. I immediately called Sully back, I grabbed the Skittles I had kept back for me. She came back with her mom, and I asked the mom if skittles were ok for her. The mom shook her head yes.

We always start off with about 50% chocolate vs non-chocolate, but we had over double our normal amount of trick-or-treaters last night. I’m surprised we did not run out of candy.

This mom’s reaction was simply gratitude. Getting back to my favorite memory -I will never forget the smile on Sully’s face.
