Do they close the park early --- If you are not attending that event ----- Kind of like Disney does for certain Events //// This will be my 1st time in Oct. Kid's too young in age so not an option for now ... :confused:
 
Yes. Universal will close at 5pm and reopen at 6:30 for HHN. So far it is just at Universal but there have been rumors of using both parks again but no confirmation yet.

Mischief is correct...the park will close at 5PM so they can set up.

The big difference between Universal and Disney and their Halloween events is...Universal clears the park completely of day guests not staying for HHN whereas Disney let's you stay in the park before MNSSHP begins. Some people are very surprised when they are asked to leave but that's the way it is.
 
last year i was in the line for ET ride.
it was about 4:50 and the entrance line for this ride was closed then.


those in the line could stay and do the ride but once done, escorted to the park exit if no hhn tickets.


hhn does not open to the peeps in the holding areas until the parks are completely cleared of day guests and given the all clear signal.
