I'm not on this cruise, but cruised the same cruise as Rose once in the past. Just want to tell her !!! Hope her 50th birthday trip is wonderful!!!

Hi everyone. Do you know anything About android users not being able to log onto disboards? I haven't been able to get on using my phone since Tuesday. One more question...do I tell someone on here about wanting to take part in the FE or do I tell the people on facebook? Thanks for the info, going to go back to the football game. Yes, there is a problem with the android program. Here's what I found.
You go to get on and it says 1 out of 5 incorrect tries. Then the screen goes
white. What you need to do is go back out and enter in a second time and then you can put in your password ( I haven't found a way to make it stay in there so
you don't have to log in every time) and it will work the second time.

I read a forum about this and it seems every android has this issue. It is the program that was written for the DIS. I've heard that they're aware of it but for some reason they have no interest in fixing it.
Bad blood with the company? No money to fix it? I don't remember why.

I had actually received my AARP card even before by 50th birthday. Not sure why. But I have joined (4 years now) and love to use it to get discounts on hotel rooms. I need to use it for other discounts too, but I always forget.

My cruise thread is pretty slow right now. I hope it picks up when the cruise gets closer. Even our FB page doesn't get much activity. Very different from the one for our cruise last year and extremely different from our cruise in 2011. I'm a little disappointed that there is not more activity. That's why sometimes I go and read your cruise thread just to see some activity (even though your thread isn't that active either).

Yeah, AARP was sending me notices since age 49 1/2. I know they have good discounts but I do like their informative newspaper also.

It's sad how the cruise threads aren't like they use to be and although I like FB for other stuff, it's just not the same for this. Our FB group is never up to much. But same as here I guess, but at least on here you usually get some regulars that you get to know.... like you!

Mine was the 24th and I made it to 50
SO Bob's was the 13th and my cousins daughter who I visited while just in Orlando, was the 23rd. Then last year I found out I had a brother I never knew about by doing the genetic testing 23 and me. What a surprise that was!
And found out his birthday was yesterday, the 29th!

We know lots of others that have birthdays in November. Bob says it's because
9 months back was around Valentine's Day

Well, Dave, I guess you'll be celebrating your upcoming 50th on the cruise, right?

I'll still be celebrating mine as it won't change till after the cruise!

Cooking a whole other Thanksgiving dinner today.

Made one in MA with my son, teaching him how to cook (yeah, right.... he was mostly in the other room playing video games....). Bob went to his Mom's for dinner. So we'd have no leftovers at home, so I've been in the kitchen all day.

When I go back to work tomorrow I'm going to have to take it easy, I really need a vacation from the vacation I just had!

We have them here too but they only fly to 2 places in FL and neither are Orlando. Plus they only fly on 2 days a week. Kind of weird.

They do have a limited schedule for sure! But we were able to book into Clearwater on Friday night, then home from Sanford(Orlando) on Sunday 9 days later. My mom lives about 5 minutes from the Clearwater airport.
