Thanks!

They came from Hobby Lobby. The large metal wreath frame is 20" and the ears are the 12" ones because I found out that Mickey's ears are 3/5 the size of his head, no matter what size his head is.

The ears are attached to the head with green floral wire.

I used 2 sets of candy corn lights and 1 set of orange lights. I plan on keeping it up until right after Thanksgiving. The colors are Fall colors.

I have another set of the frames that I could use to do one for Christmas with blue lights that match our exterior house lights.

super cute !

I've tried somthing similar. I've purchased from K-mart the extra large wire formed spider web and 2 of the smalls.

I used zip ties to attach the "ear" and wrapped orange lights around the border.

Has anyone made the Christmas version of his yet? I was wondering how many twinkle lights I will actually need to use. Hubby and I were wondering if 200 mini lights would be too many (of course we have 800-900 lights on a 6 1/2 foot tree too).

I had 3 strands of 100 on this one. I've bought the same number of blue lights for the Christmas version.

Will post photos when I get it done.

Just made the Christmas version.

When phone charges up a bit, I'll take a photo.

Correction on number of lights for Halloween version: I used 3 sets of 50 lights, so 150 total.
