Hey, has anyone seen the Twilight candy? I bought a bag and ate too many Jacob's. Ha Ha.

I haven't seen it yet, but that totally cracked me up!

I mailed my exchange gift today! I paid a little extra for shipping so it could arrive in 2-3 days instead of 6-8 days. Note to self (and you girls) DON'T BUY PACKING TAPE OR BOX AT THE USPO! They are crazy for wanting $3.28 + tax for a roll of tape! I don't know where else to go for boxes though but the office over here charged me nearly $2 for it. The shipping itself wasn't too bad.

As for staying on budget...well, I stayed in the vicinity
But in all seriousness, I didn't go overboard but shopping on a budget is so hard in general but throw in cute Halloween things and it's doubly hard!

I really hope my exchange pal likes their stuff. I also hope they like it enough to post a picture on the thread.

I'm excited to get mine!

I know Trudi. I ALMOST got them for you but I figured I would stick to what you said. Didn't want to step on toes. You know how it goes. I SOOOO thought it would prob be ok but then I thought just my luck you would not like it for some weird reason so I figured better safe than sorry!

I don't know where else to go for boxes though but the office over here charged me nearly $2 for it. The shipping itself wasn't too bad.

I usually ship Priority mail. The boxes come in different sizes and are free. Also Priority is a set price per box not weight, so you can cram as much into a box as you want, even heavy items and it's the same price. And I usually get delivery confirmation. It's only a bit more, like a dollar or something, and it's nice to be able to track the package.

I think I am done too. I just need to get a box for it. One of the items is breakable so I want to make sure I package it properly.

I read online that Walgreen's is supposed to sell bags of it for $2.99. We went to 3 different Walgreen's and couldn't find it.

Okay, so Tina got my little package already, and I sent my kid package out the same day, the adult the next. I want them to get there and hear what the receipients thought of their goodies.

Did I mention, I want to hear....well...now!!!

I was so worried about what to buy and then getting it sent out on time that I was a little scatter brained. I forget to include the card I bought to go with it, which I now can't find so if you get a package in 2 days with either no card or a card in it that isn't signed it's from me!

Yes, I found the candy at Walgreens. Maybe they sold out already. The Jacob's are peanut butter filled and were so good ! They are made by Skybar.

Michaela got the package today from Amy Sue and her daughter, Claire! THANK YOU! She loved it!
Included was a Halloween cookbook, a blow-up spider and pumpkin, a pumpkin necklace, pumpkin lollipop, an adorable stuffed ghost, and a white t-shirt with a tie dye kit! I am probably missing something - she promptly took all her stuff to her room so her brothers wouldn't get to it!
She just LOVED getting a package all for herself!

BTW - Michaela and I are almost done with her package. I hopefully will be able to mail it out on Wednesday or Thursday!
