Sounds like another great arrival!! All the packages so far have been full of so many wonderful Halloween treats, goodies and decorations. I love it!!

Hi all -

I got my package as well but it was hidden in the bushes and I found it after Beth asked if I'd gotten my package because it had been sent and the sender was worried that I had not gotten it. Luckily it was not damaged and that I found it!!

So Thank you so much AmySue!!! So many cute things!!

Here's what I found in the box from the bushes...
A little stuffed pumpkin
Cute napkins that has a vampirish lady and the words "If you've got it, haunt it!:
Little press on skulls and cross bones...very blingy!
Two adorable Halloween dish towels.
A pumpkin trivet
Assorted Halloween hang up decorations
AND...cute Mikey shaped sting lights in purple, orange and lime green

Oh, I am so glad you went crawling in the bushes Vicki. I mailed the package last Friday and I was certain it would have had to arrive!!

I am a little bummed that I forgot to fill the envelope with the halloween confetti I bought, but can't remember everything.

Oh, and the little stuffed pumpkin is actually a pot scrubber sponge. I was still using mine from last year at Valentine's so had to finally give it up!!!

I am so glad too! Oh and thank you for telling me what the little stuffed pumpkin is because I have it hanging on the door that goes to the garage. It does look cute there and I am not sure I can bring myself to use it on dirty dishes. Thanks again!

I finally bought the last thing for my exchange gift! I'm REALLY hoping to get it mailed out tomorrow.

I love hearing about what others have received.

Also, I went to Walgreens yesterday and got some Twilight chocolates! Edward is SO yummy.

Well it looks like my package is going out on the last day. At first it seemed like plenty of time and now I just realized that Monday is the deadline. I just need a couple more things so maybe I will get out tonight and get it to the post office tomorrow - one day before the deadline just like I do my taxes. So far I haven't made any special trips, just when I'm in a store I remember to check out the Halloween section to see what they have. It's been fun!

Ok So my box WAS ready to go out but I found a few things that I forgot to put in there. So after I peel off the tape and add, rearrange and retape I will take it to the PO to get mailed to my buddy. (That reminded me of that cutesie commercial from when I was a kid....my buddy, my buddy and me....)

Everyone is getting such great gifts from their exchange buddies.

Couple reminders:

Everyone's been really good about posting once their package is actually on the way and I appreciate that. Thank you. I know sometimes we post that we are planning to go to the PO but it doesn't always work out. Speaking from personal experience of course, so thank you for posting again once the package is in fact out of your hot little hands.

Second, delivery confirmation is highly recommended. It's not required, so if you forget or whatever, that's ok, but it's nice to be able to track your package online and know exactly when it was delivered. Especially if you are totally Type A personality like I am.

And finally, I will be busy this weekend starting this evening and probably won't be online. So if you have any problems, or questions most likely I won't get to them until Monday. I don't have one of them fancy phones you can check online with. lol

But Monday morning I will be back to update any mailings or arrivals. And hopefully by then my person's package will have arrived. (oh, I'm so nervous!)

I probably won't get mine out until Monday, I need to make 1 more stop and will probably do that tonight. I meant to do it last night but DD13 (aka Cassidy) had parent/teacher conferences that she forgot to tell me about so my evening was taken up with that. So 1 more quick stop and then I can box stuff up...hopefully I have the right size boxes at home, if not I'll box it up at work. I will be sure to post tho, so you know they have left my hands!

First let me say... i don't know what i love more.. reading about everyone's packages and seeing the pretty pictures.. or finding treasures for the exchanges in my family..or opening a box that a sweet friend has sent me.

And Secondly, tonight my little grandbabies are staying the night and we are making little cards to go in their exchanges. Then tomorrow my mama is coming over to help me put the boxes together.

So the 5 boxes from my family will go out monday by fed ex.

Yep!! 5 boxes.. i signed up myself, my mom, and the three grandbabies. I did have a moment..what was i thinking? But it's been so fun to do. We've all worked on it together. It's been a fun family activity.

So my dining room table looks like..the Great Pumpkin Came to our house!

Hi Dawn. I'm still hanging around, checking in, and saw your post.

The next exchange will be the Christmas stocking theme. It's fun and easy. Just buy a stocking and fill it. We will be picking a date where we will all open our packages on the same day. So when you get your package, you will still post that it arrived, BUT you won't open it. Sort of like waiting for Christmas. Then on the chosen day, we will all open them and post what we got! It's a lot of fun!!

The stocking exchange will just be for adults. No kiddos on that one since they get their stockings from Santa.

That will be the last one until the trip. We will do another exchange the night of the Meet and Greet like last time. Although it won't be an exchange as much as a "white elephant" style game like last time where you pick and choose and someone can steal what you get.

The theme for that will be announced as it gets closer by your Meet and Greet planning committee. We are still working on it.
