We are currently planning a trip for 10/30-11/7. DS is 10, and even though we are going to Disney, he is upset about not being home to trick or treat. Now, he I figured if I bought tickets for MNSSHP for 10/31 that would be a good trade off. My problem.... DH won't know until the end of August if he can have off work. Therefore, nothing that is non-refundable will be booked or purchased until then. I really don't want to buy these tickets and not be able to use them. So, are there any other activities for Halloween, on Halloween in the area that anyone knows of? I need another plan I think.

We were there last year for Halloween. We didn't even decide to go until the end of September and had no problems getting tickets for Nov. 1's MNSSHP at the beginning of October.

There were some Halloween activities at the Boardwalk. We were at Epcot on Halloween and there were a few CM's giving out candy. I also heard people in line talking about taking their kids to Celebration to trick-or-treat.

We were there for Halloween 2 years ago. We bought our tickets in September for Halloween night. My son wasn't thrilled with it though. He prefers going door to door. You won't have a problem getting tickets, I'm sure. They also do things at the resorts, and downtown disney had some great things happening.
