Only half a day of work left! Wonder if they will notice if I hum Disney songs while running around trying to get everything set to leave.

It is really hard to pack shorts when I keep cranking up the heat.

I can't believe we leave tomorrow at this time. I should be sleeping but my head is spinning with everything that needs to be done. I have not even decided what evening wear I am brining.....panic mode! Kids are packed and hubby is well on his way too. Can't wait for the Magic to begin!! Safe travels everyone. I too have had problems sleeping. Last night I took at TylonalPM just to get some sleep! I will most likely be getting very little sleep tonight. My in-laws are picking us up at 5:30 to take us to the airport. I told my husband they should pick us up around 6:00 - 6:30. he told them 5:30. Which really means 5:00 their time. They are always early! It is going to be an early morning! Hopefully Jacob will take a nap tomorrow afternoon!

Take a nap today! I swear last year I made myself sick by not sleeping before we left. I worked until the last minute and then stayed up packing. Worked on Friday and then we flew out Friday night.......once we got to bed at the hotel it was 1 or 2 in the am on Friday. By the time we pulled out of dock I was sick with a throat thing and a fever! Don't let yourself get run down..........OK that was my mom moment

This year we took off today and tomorrow!

Yeah, We're in Orlando. Got in yesterday. Doing Sea World today. Downtown Disney tomorrow.
James is bragging because He isn't even using vacation hours. He is using all his comp time. We don't vacation every year so it builds up. He gets to the point of "use it or lose it".
Weather is nice today. Hopeflly it stays that way.

Bucki, I'll never forget when we took our son to Disney World for the first time, he was in first grade and we decided to surprise him. We waited until my sister and her daughter (my son's favorite cousin!) arrived so we could all go to the airport together (they were joining us and in on the surprise). Chani (my niece) asked Steven if he wanted to go to Disney World with her. He said no, he just wanted to play in the backyard with her and then he ran off to the backyard. We went out and explained that we were all going to Disney, but he wanted no part of it! He just wanted to play in the back yard with his cousin! I had never thought I'd hear my son cry "but I don't want to go to Disney World!!"

We threw the kids in the car and by the time we reached the airport he decided maybe the trip would be fun. Kids are so strange!!! We didn't surprise him this time, he's known all along, saving his money and getting excited.

Bucki, kudos to you for keeping it under your hat- I can't wait to hear how excited your kiddos were!

I was up until 4:30!!!! - working on door signs. I don't have too much today though - so I should be able to squeze in a nap.

We were able to surprise DD with a Disney trip when she was 6!!! I did slip a few times - but my DSis had a trip right before us and we covered as if we were talking about their trip. DS and BIL were actually down there the week before us and we told DD that we were going to pick them up at the airport before school. We got out the video camera and told her right before we went out the door - poor thing was still too asleep - I don't think it actually sank in until we were ON the plane!!!

can't wait!!!!

Let me just say last year, thanks to Missy's family, we received door signs often during the cruise. They just magically appeared on our door. This year I had to make my own....NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE for me. But they are finished and packed. Now, I need to pack the rest of the cruise.

DD-3 has been healthy all year. I took her to the doctor on Tuesday and found out she has Bronchitis. DD-5 woke up this morning complaining that her throat hurts..... WHY NOW??????

The Doc loaded up the 3 year old with antibiotics and I'm giving DD-5 antibiotics that I got as samples.

hopefully your DD5 only has what mine had Sunday - she woke up crying with a sore throat - I made her stay in bed - and by the end of the day she was on her way to dance class!!!! I was ready to call the ped. first thing Monday am - but it wasn't needed. Pixie dust hoping this passes just as quickly!!!!

mine aren't that great - I physically cut and pasted and used stickers - I never went out and got the software - or learned how to do everything on the computer!!! BUT - I had FUN!!!!!!

I'm starting to panic, not packed, no pirate outfits, no trick or treat bags, what have I been doing the last few weeks??? I hope to meet lots of new folks at 3:00 on Saturday, just recently joined this thread so won't have the green wristbands, etc., but we'll be there I told my DH that we will have to get out our calendars on the plane, and plan for the next one, it's an illness - I know!! Safe travels to all!!
