halloween cruise/ Magic: October 28th-nov..4th 2006

I made pirate costumes for everyone in our party. When I showed my dad his pirate pants, he just sighed and said, "I will have to have a few beers before leaving the stateroom wearing those."

I can't wait, to dress up. I just wish that we knew how DLC is going to handle Halloween and Pirate night being on the same night. We have costumes for our DSs, which they will wear for the DIS trick-or-treat, but I have held off on making anything for the adults, as I don't know if there will be an opportunity to wear them.

I called DCL on friday and asked them this question I spoke with a GREAT women named Barbara... She explained to me that she was contacting the events cordinator for the cruise and that she would be contacting me this week to tell me all of the details..Barbara thought that they would move pirate night to the next night due to Halloween...But would have the events cordinator contact me to ensure this is what was going to happen..So as soon as I hear from her I will let everyone know...
Barbara did go on to tell me that all of the characters are dressed up for Halloween..She just did the Halloween cruise last year and said there is no other place she would rather be than on DCL on Halloween.. Then DCL gives out clues and you have to figure out the clue to get to the next Trick and Treat station. She said it was really cool and the characters costumes are just great....

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!

To those who have cruised before, or those who just know more than me...when should we expect our airline tickets if we arranged our flights through DCL?

I am excited, we are changing our cell phone service to Disney Mobile, and our new phones are suppose to be here today. My oldest daughter is getting one.. I guess it has GPS so I can find her on a map by her phone!!! HEE HEE! That will freak her out when she gets older and I show up!

Last Year I went to Daytona on Thursday during Speedweeks;
"Racing All Day"
There was racing action all Day, Less Crowded, and Cheaper.
Also The "FAN ZONE" is a must.

I am excited, we are changing our cell phone service to Disney Mobile, and our new phones are suppose to be here today. My oldest daughter is getting one.. I guess it has GPS so I can find her on a map by her phone!!! HEE HEE! That will freak her out when she gets older and I show up!

That GPS feature is the coolest thing. I love the commercial. When we get phones for the kids it'll be Disney. However, I would have figured out how to block the GPS or use call forwarding etc etc.... I have been dating Craig since I was 14. He's a year older so I had to convince my parents I was at cheerleading camp or scouting colleges to go see Craig at Bentley. So bad. If we had those phones back (not too far back ) then I would have been busted big time!!! Love modern technology AND Disney

Well, I guess the GPS satellite launch won't slip until late Oct. It successfully launched today. I tried to catch it on the web cams, but I missed it! Maybe they'll get that STEREO launch put together for a launch we can see. I did see something that looked like it might be a second stage on one of the webcams at http://www.orbireport.com/Cams/Canaveral.html - here it is:

Hi everyone. Boy did we have a long day yesterday! We had a great time! Tim and Timmy got to do a pit road tour. Our driver came in third! We did however get soaked. About three minutes after the race ended a storm popped up. Over all it was a nice day. We have been going to Dover since I was pregnant with Timmy. We also seem to have a good time!

Well, the kids and I will be dressed up for pirate night. Tim will most likely wear a pirate t-shirt. I am not sure what my Dad and Step Mother are going to do.

Tim and I were talking about the whole technology thing just the other day. We would not have been able to get away with half the things we did. Glad they have the technology to keep track of our kids though! Timmy is not really into talking on the phone much, but I am sure that day will come soon enough. He is already wanting to join all the afterschool clubs. Boy do they grow up fast!

Speaking of the cell phones for kids....Drew got a cell phone for his birthday this past July. It's just one of those pre-paid ones, and does not have GPS. But he has it for emergencies, and he thinks it's cool just to have it. He doesn't talk on it much. I could not add him to my plan at this point, because he would definitely go way over the minutes allowed. With the pre-paid, he "savors" his minutes. And it gives him an opportunity to earn money to buy more (minutes), or it's always a great gift idea for Christmas, birthday, etc.

Tomorrow is our one month date. Can't wait!!!

He everyone, Can't believe we are down to 30 days! Anyone get any documents yet?????can't wait to do the dance!!!! Just got Sara's costume finished yesterday....she wanted to be a prom queen, 11 years old and looks like I did at my prom LOL. Liv has had her Jasmine costume for weeks now but is starting to wonder if she should be a princess instead...totally Liv, we will need to bring both to be sure we don't have a meltdown on board. My husband is traveling from now til the cruise so we are looking forward to our Anniversary to spend some time together.
